eBay have got another promotion going on at the moment with 20% off some eBay stores, Full list of stores with links and terms and conditions here http://pages2.ebay.com.au/Buyer_coupons/valentine20?rmvSB=true (http://pages2.ebay.com.au/Buyer_coupons/valentine20?rmvSB=true)
I hadnt heard about Outbax Camping before but a quick look and I see that are the seller that moves plenty of folding solar panels on eBay so am assuming if they are normally good value then they would be even more so with the extra 20% off and probably of interest to people here, I'll leave others to comment on their quality/value though as I don't know much about them.
Something smells...
I'm in the market for a new chair so thought I'd have a look at the Oztent King Kokoda at BCF....
BCF advertise it at $139, then apply their code and get a 20% discount = $111... WTF? Oztent's RRP is only $129, and I can buy it at Tentworld for $90.
BCF. Bloody ripoff merchants. >:(

Yep pays to shop around, I suspect the main bargains to be had are with the Outbax Camping store with it coming off competitive prices or where you can get an 20% off the already on sale items like these oztrail armchairs. http://stores.ebay.com.au/BCF-boating-camping-fishing/_i.html?_nkw=oztrail+armchair&submit.x=0&submit.y=0 (http://stores.ebay.com.au/BCF-boating-camping-fishing/_i.html?_nkw=oztrail+armchair&submit.x=0&submit.y=0)
Worth remembering that Supercheap, Auto Trade Direct, Ray's Outdoors, BCF, Amart, Rebel Sport and Workout World are all one group !

The guy who runs the local Tentworld was running the local Campmart store when they got bought out by the Supercheap group and became BCF. He was offered a position in the borg but told em nah! He went to Tentworld and that's now my first stop for anything camping these days.

+1. The lutwyche road store is great.
I bought a king Kokoda and got it from bcf. I asked if they price matched and when they said yes I showed them the tentworld price. Deal done.
I despise bc but it worked for me on that occasion.

We try. ;)
I would prefer to buy at the place that offers the good price in the first place. You will find that all places that mark the price up ridiculously will quickly price match to get the sale.

I'd agree with that.. battling to get a deal is too much of a pain..
I usually walk around look at the prices, if they are too much, I'll just walk out go elsewhere. Usually you don't have to walk too far into a shop to see if you can afford to shop there.
Wonder why business' don't realise people do this ??? Surely a small profit and large turnover is better than none ???

+1 for this, otherwise the shops that offer the cheaper prices will be forced out of the market and will be left only with no competition and only the more expensive alternatives. The one exemption for this however is if its a loss leader then I'll get it from the big guy/more expensive place.
