I hope this section is relevant... not sure where to ask this Q:
I'm about to build a drawer in the tub of the Fourby... my Q:
I have bought a pair of drawer runners, 800mm in length, 90Kg capacity...
What's the maximum drawer length I can build, do the runners have to be fully forward on the drawer carcass?
Building with 12mm ply.
I would say that your runners should match the drawer length .
Normally the drawer would be the same length as the runner. The front of the runner is flush with the front of your drawer. You can make the drawer shorter or longer than the runner, however if the drawer is longer than the runner you will end up with the back section of the drawer hidden away in the carcass. How long were you looking at making the drawer?

Don't think my last post worked.
Make the draw any lenth you want but you'll need to reach into the back of the draw as it will only pull out 800.
Store containers full of parts or dry food storage or army surplus Amo cases there
Thanks for the replies fellas. As I thought.
I'm thinking about a meter for the drawer length, so 200mm won't be a hassle to reach into.
Gives me storage behind the drawer too.
Cheers,
Dick
Just remember that the 200mm would be unsupported when closed. Shouldn't be a problem but if it was much more might create issues
