Was looking at cobbald gorge but have decided no as have been advised that it is way to busy over easter and they pack everyone in on top of each other so not sure now

Surely you can delay a bit. We are supposed to move in this weekend but I am pushing to after Easter rather than giving up 5 days at Moreton with the mrs and my boy. It will be his first beach camping experience as it was always bush when in Sydney.
I'm super excited...... I get to go to work for Easter, three nights starting Saturday night.... Yay!!!! NOT!
I can't complain though, I have 4 months off starting mid June.
Regards
Angus.
Going across Nullarbor, around Western Australia, across to Darwin and down the middle.
Well........... OK, that would be hard to do just over Easter,
So Easter + another 103 days, give or take 1 day. ;D
Southern tip of Fraser with the boat as long as the winds stay a bit more easterly than predicted.
If the winds aren't favourable, i'm just gunna park my boardshort clad, 100 kilo fat ar$e on the beach at Rainbow and put the other beach goers off their lunch
Sydney, Moree 2 nights, Kingaroy, Deepwater National Park 3 nights, Tin Can bay 2 nights, Fraser 6 nights, Grafton, Sydney
Staying at home to protect myself from interlopers that could turn up :-[ :-[ :-[
Happy and safe travels everyone

Even if we weren't moving, I'm soooo far behind with work, I'd be working anyhow.

Stalker. Hasn't been updated for a few years, a lot of those have been and gone, as have others. Got some pretty cool stuff on the go at the moment, but it's all secret squirrel until a car show later this year in Sydney. 8)
Ya may not miss much either Shane.
Plenty of rain in the forecast for the week-end.
At least at work, you'll be dry...... ;D

Here's the setup, apart from us there were 3 caravan families and a back of car camper.
Fraser was great, but last time at Easter for us, just to give an idea, we arrived at Eli creek at about 9.30, set up and within an hour this is what it was like, the vehicle went around the corner maybe another 100 or so meters, I have never seen this many people here before, wow - was good to people watch for a while, but decided to head into lake Mackenzie, car park was chockers not one space and many people parked in, about 3 tag along tours with 6 or 7 vehicles loaded with 6 - 8 people was simply way crowded for us.
Seen it packed like that before! We are off to fraser on Friday for 8 days
that pic above is why we don't go to Fraser during holiday periods....Fraser is beautiful, but it's not my idea of a nice place to visit when it's like that.

8 Days, lucky bugger, wish we had that long there, is a long way to travel for only 4 nights, which is all we could manage this time around, where abouts are you camping

Have to agree 100%, but was the only time we could all get there this time, work gets in the way of fun, must be a better way

Dundabara mate. We have small kids, so prefer the safety of the gated campsite. Otherwise I would be up the top end somewhere.
Just in case anyone is interested in what the weather is like on Teewah beach this morning, here's a picture of our campsite for the next week or so, you know the weather is good when it's not even 8am and the 120w panels are putting in 5A.
