Hi
Got a mate with a new Lux and factory bar, he wants to get something else painted up same colour. Local dealer is not helping.
Does anyone know who makes them?
Or does anyone know what the name of the colour is that is powdercoated on the bar?
It's a kind of grey/black

Yep, otherwise a proper automotive paint store (not Autobums or Supercrap)

Yep. Or them, if you can do it yourself. Defiantly not the last 2
Thanks, I'll look them up
Try a big powdercoaster in your local area. Many OEM bullbars are done by powder coasters i believe, not autoshops..
If it is a standard powder coat colour try your local paint shop, I went to my local paint shop
(used to be Bristol not sure if they still are) to get some paint mixed in the same colour as some
panels on my van, they checked the colour found it was a standard powder coat finish which they
had in aerosol cans, when sprayed it smells just like acrylic auto paint.
Cheers
Leigh
If it is a steel bar then it is made by ARB. I saw them being made when I did a factory tour.

The bars are powder coated black and it's almost impossible to colour match a powder coat to a manufacturers body colour. That's why bars that are colour coded are painted.
Best speak to a panel beater/ spray painter.
