I have just bought a little hard floor camper and am wondering if there are any special tricks or precautions to take when packing up and moving to tomorrow's campsite with wet canvas. I guess at least a tarp over the bedding. Anything else?
Keith
Deco a tarp over the bedding. Depending on how wet it is maybe strip the bed as well.
Tip number one.
Put a silver tarp over the whole shebang before it rains and prevent canvas getting wet.

Yep, all we do is put a tarp over the bedding.

X 2 - we usually travel with the duvet and pillows in the back of the car rather than leaving them on the bed. We found that approach made packing up significantly easier...
Packing away wet canvas is not fun. Throw in below freezing temps & you have wet frozen canvas with sheets of ice. Even less fun.
We cover the bed with a plastic painters drop sheet prior to pack up.
Thanks for of the advice.
Much appreciated,
Keith
As has been said before we cover the bed with a tarp.
The first time we packed up wet we were worried about the bed. The tarp does work.

I have a plastic sheet I chuck over the bed that came with the trailer, that and the diesel heater to dry any wet stuff when I get to next site works a treat
