A question for Top Trail / Ezy Trail owners.
Does anyone leave the annexe roof / awning on when packing up or is it too much trouble trying to pack it away with it still on?
If no-one has tried I may give it a go on the long weekend.
Thanks, Robbo

Robbo, tried it once and found it to be a pain trying to get it all in neatly
Thanks mate, that's what I thought...

Tried the same a 2 weekends ago. I opened it up again and took it off.
Thanks guys, saved me some time trying it out for myself.
Is this for the hardfloor or the soft floor?
Give it a go for your self mate anything that makes setup packups easyer is a good thing.
Hey Muzza, I was asking about the soft-floor ezytrail.
I'll be mucking around with it on the long weekend ready for a short trip the next weekend.
I might still try it out, depends on the beer situation.

There is a thread on modifying the bows inside the main tent by putting s/steel forged eye bolts on them to help making it easier lining up the the hook on the ridge poles.
This mod alone saves about 15 minutes setup time. I can't recommend it enough.
It turned a two person task into a one person task.
Thanks Marschy
I saw that one but I wasn't sure if it would put too much tension on the canvas.
I'll give it a crack over the long weekend.
I'll be busy as I've committed to finishing off the LED lighting that weekend.

Hi Robbo,
I leave mine on every trip, i just fold over the roof when packing up and it folds neat for me, i always unpack when i get home and give the roof a good clean before packing long term.
First few times it was a pain but me and the son have got it down packed now without issues, fully packed up in under 10mins (just give the tent time to let air out)
I think i have a video around somewhere of mine packed up ill see if i can find it.

Can someone please link to this thread - I'm having a search fail! The couple of times I've put the awning up I've had help from the parents, but will normally be by myself so any help available would be good.

Took a few minutes to find it, only way I did was a very vague recollection that it was a blue tongue camper.
Hope it helps.

Perfect - thankyou very much. Was searching under Ezytrail, should have guessed many many many brands have the same tents and poles!
