Okay
Here she is. Took 2 minutes to put on as holes matched perfectly. I am really please with it as it looks fantastically well thought out. Even little things like coming standard with a lock and a yellow magnetic locating tag to assist locating when reversing.

And yes, before all the replies come flooding in it is very phallic like!!!!!!!
I just have the standard 3.5t McHitch and reckon it is great. Look forward to reading your review of this new one.

Was going to go the mchitch but might wait for the feedback on the auto one first

These look very cool. I'm blown away by the different hitch options these days

I have reposted link to the Utube blurb about these below

Bronco. What type of hitch did you have previously? What was your motivation to change to this one
Would the hole configuration be the same as a Hyland 3.5t?
Thanks. Lots of questions !

No worries for a fellow surfer, even if you are a long boarder!!!!
Okay, I was going to get another DO35 like I had on the C/T to put on the Outback but started looking at alternatives after having a few dramas fitting the one I borrowed of Steff01 to go to Fraser. The holes were slightly out from van drawbar. So I started to do some research and came across the McHitch. It seemed to tick a lot of boxes, holes exactly aligned, very well made, ease of use, came standard with lock and yellow high visible plastic locator to assist with hitching when using reverse camera and way cheaper than the DO35. The icing on the cake was my mate, Dave Gall from Kedron Caravans raves about them

Hi dave
Just noticed your post after putting up my own new mchitch today they are very close for me so I picked mine up today from the workshop. Nice and sturdy and seems a simple design I was looking at the older model but waited for the new design.
Cheers Derek
I ordered one on Monday, have been waiting for months for the new model to become available. Can't wait to get it on and give it a go.

Ahhh you assume I ride a long board! I could ride a McTavish Egg?? But you're actually correct - 9-1 actually.
Thanks for the info - the self locating design looks pretty cool. And the Gall boys do flog their gear (in the name of ''product testing')
Hey Dave, how's the auto hitch going mate? Still unsure either to get the drop on or auto one?

G'day Swannie - just put a McHitch adaptor onto my AT35 as the AT is welded onto the drawbar.
Shudda done this years ago - for $95, one of the best and easiest mods.
Cheers,
TC

Go for the auto so easy to hitch up with the help of a reversing camera. Best hitch I have ever used. After 2 trips no droop and that's without Viagra.

Yes
Really happy. I can't fault it. Worked a treat whenever we've gone anywhere. And I can easily hook the Expanda up by myself and I don't have a reverse camera. Just seems to make van tow superbly on and off road. Great articulation.
Will happily recommend.
Dave
Might be A stupid question but if you are on your own, how do you get the height right before you reverse up for the hitch to auto connect?
