Bugger!
Bloody nora! The only thing I have seen go through the tyre and rim before like that was an LAVTD.
That would have given you one heck of a surprise.
Hope everyone was aok afterwards
Cheers

Ouch that's pretty scary.
I believe all were good. I'd say it would've jammed against the caliper and locked up. The road was freshly graded.
Ouch, hope he had two plugs in his kit, or maybe some liquid metal
Certainly looks like it caused a surprise.
In a really big way too.
Do you reckon the tyre would be out of balance a bit ???
A bit of extra cut and some elbow grease and that should buff out.
Where did it happen?
That almost looks like a Prado rim?
Yep, a site playdo......was on the Karratha tom price rd.

anyone else find it funny the spike went thru right where it says "STRONG GUARD" on the sidewall... LOL!
The statement is correct, it didn't go through the sidewall right?
But what is the chance that that will ever happen this way. Very small.
Hopefully no other dramas.
Wow!! that's full on.
I picked one up on the Oodnadatta track back in 2012, but mine was the size of a short stumpy golf tee.
Regards
