Each week I have to drive 500 clicks to go to work, Out one week and back the following. During the drive I have to be alert enough to dodge, brake or swerve around a variety of wild life and the list is different depending on the time of day.
Kangaroos
Wallabies
Cattle
Deer
Ferrel pigs
Ferrel goats
Emu
Bustard turkey- Plain turkey
and millions of bloody Galah's
So far out of the list I have not yet hit any deer, emu , goat or bustard turkey's. My bull bar does get a work out some mornings as the kangaroo/wallabies are to numerous to miss.
cheers duggie
These Bas@%$ds as they cut across 3 lanes of traffice!!! ;D
(Have had to dodge a few deer in a previous life on the mainland, and there is heaps of road kill over here but havnt collected anything yet)
B-doubles and mad ute and van drivers
Mainly Kangaroos, but dogs seem to be more prevalent
mainly ****wit drivers who shouldn't have a license.. specially around Springvale and Box Hill where one member of the family gets a license for the whole extended family.
The only thing I have to dodge is the Boss.............
Regards
Angus

You forgot to mention Tojo's with broken front diffs
I have to keep an eye out for these
I travel to work at 5am daily and never cease to be amazed at the dodgem derby of tradie utes.
Speed limits dont apply, stop signs are advisory only, red lights are only a rough guide, and god help you if you get in their way.
And whatever you do, don't follow them thru a roundabout. They spew nails out the sides

Glass on the road, car drivers who can't drive.
Caravans!!!!!!!
early mornings the occasional Koala
Yeah, I get the roos, possums, galahs (although i don't dodge them) and other assorted birds asking for trouble.
The Shuroos ($30 variety) seem to do a good job of alerting the bigger animals about my arrival and they tend to stay out of the way. Good thing considering I am in a Laser and reakon some of those roos would certainly come out better off.

Yep. Gold Coast is full of them. 55 year olds weighing in at 250kg with cool glasses slick back helmet and Lycra. 8) Yeah mate you keep riding.
Them and people that turn right from the left hand lane on a round about. Wake up idiots before someone t bones you!
kangaroos every day, escapee sheep and cattle, the odd wombat, once in town it's the tourists and closer to work it's kids on scooters and bikes...I'm a teacher! An no, it's never crossed my mind to accidentally bump one off >:D
Had to dodge a wheelbarrow which fell off the back of a tradie's ute one night. A freckle puckering moment on a motorcycle.

Lets be honest it is near impossible to dodge these especially on Friday Afternoons!!!!
I try to dodge work, doesn't often work though!
The odd echidna here and there. Today it seemed to be a lot of Ballarat swap meet attendees that needed dodging, as well as some drivers who can't understand that my trailer is really long and if you pull put into an intersection too far I might have to pull the bogey axles across you bonnet!!

Driving to ..... ? Oh! Yes, that place.
Almost forgot that I used to do that.
It isn't there any more - they moved it somewhere into the city, so I retired.
