Yep great tyre, made by Bridgestone. Not as good as a D697 or BFG AT but all price relative.

Lol, that wasn't really the tyres fault, just the wrong tyre for the application :)
From what I know, nothing's really compatible with Ford Explorers, they are a POS ;D
thanks fellas... i did read on a US forum (written by a kiwi i think)........ they didn't like warm roads !!! not good news for me considering where i live..... but i guess it gets back to the old.... drive to the conditions adage.

or just buy some tyres that don't have heat issues..
kinda late for that as they are already fitted................ i decided to check them out AFTER the horse had bolted... just looking for confirmation
I have a pair of 15s on our 2 tonne van. Reasonably impressed and have towed on some blistering hot days. I recall one day the TPMS warned they were hot(can't recall temp but will look) but they hung in and this was a day when tar was melting.
Totally different animal to what was on the exploder's. They are a pretty good tyre.
thanks fellas
