Does anyone know the legal fish size for snapper in WA.
Went fishing in the new kayak this morning and caught over 20 but threw them all back as we weren't confident.
I've tried to find out on the official web site but cant seem to find it. ???
Depends on whereabouts in WA you are fishing, but in metro waters, the season opened today and the minimum size is 50cm.
Details here - http://http://www.fish.wa.gov.au/documents/recreational_fishing/rec_fishing_guide/rules_guide_statewide.pdf (http://http://www.fish.wa.gov.au/documents/recreational_fishing/rec_fishing_guide/rules_guide_statewide.pdf)
None if it is a shark apparently
Let's not get started on that one.
That said - Well done W.A.
Humans before before sharks.
Cheers
Richard

just off two rocks in a kayak...biggest one was only 38cm so glad I checked...
Yes it does depend where and when as to size and bag limits --- BUT I do believe we have to cull all shark supporters
