Went in the $5.00 marina sweep and had horse number 6, Ovaltine, florentine or sumfin.
Anyway, the bugger won and so did i..... $80.00. :cup: :cheers:

It might be said to be the race that stops the nation but not for long.
About a minute after the race finished my phone rang with the Red Cross making a query about a blood bank donation. The nice lady said she was sorry to trouble me and I didn't have the heart to say can you hang on a sec while I listen to Damien Oliver.

At least it was a ripper day weather wise for once.
i had 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th in my box trifectas and quinellas :'( :'( always the story for me on cup day though, one or 2 get in the way of me winning >:(

I give the same tip for the cup every year. Gets some friends together, some food and a few quiet ones and enjoy a day off work!! It was a great day weather wise yesterday. I'll be backing the same again next year! :cheers:
