Hi guys
My fridge slide no longer extends as far as it used to. Unfortunately for me that is a real pain as the location of slide and size of fridge meant everything worked just snug.
I've lost an inch and I need every inch I can get.
Anyone had similar issues and worked out how to resolve it. BTW I get all the emails and send them to the spam filter. I just need to work out the fridge slide. ;)
Cheers Rossco

What brand? Have you tryed cleaning the runners?? does it grind or make unusual noises?? I've had a small rock jam mine up before.. remove whole thing, give qquick service and good to go
Hi Lost
It doesn't make any grinding noises but did become a little harder to slide recently. I figured it might have been a rubber stopper (you can save that for later too),.but can't see anything and I'm sure if it can be pulled apart. It came with the Modcon camper.

Cable isn't getting caught / jammed?
If it is anything like a Waeco slide, give it a good yank. Same thing happened to me.
Any photos of the empty slide??
Call them and ask if they have had similar issues with them in the past, or any clues or if they are serviceable.
I think D4D is onto something there...

yep x2
Yeh my Waeco did/does the same from time to time.
I just grab the second stage runners and jerk them in and out a few time and they loosen up.
I was told they get better with age but not sure.

Sometimes the runners 'get out of synch' so one reaches the stop before the other one has extended.
As others have said, give it a good pull and you may find they'll even up and you'll get your inch back :)
Thanks guys
I'll give it a good couple of pulls. Not sure if I'll post any photos though. 8)

Bit of silicone spray or wd40?
It happens occasionally to the pull-out pantry at home.
A good yank on the runners does the trick.

Save that one for later to Lost
I hope the jerking and pulling did the trick or did the american jogger ( yank) do the trick, the misses just came in and asked what i had been laughing about. Great forum this with a bit of humer.
And no we don't need to see the pictures of you doing all the above to your sliding thingy ;D
I am awaiting a reply to this from Jeepers as I usually read things like this from him >:D
