We too are heading to the Cape in July and are towing our van up as far as Cooktown, where I would like to park it up for a week or two.From there we intend to tent it(wife and I) and live out of the Pajero.
Is there anyone here able to give me any advice on a safe C/P or storage facility where I could leave the van please.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any of the caravan parks at Cooktown would be the best. Call them and ask if they have the space.
