Here in Adelaide they are ripping us off blind at the moment and you have to pick your days. Two days ago I saw it for $1.19, now it is $1.39. I noticed that the difference for Premium Unleaded has gone up to 16c, not too many years ago it used to be 10c!!
And diesel is the biggest rip off - currently at $1.45c - up more than 20% in 2 years!!
Just got back from a SA / NT / Vic trip and have fuel pricings from Albury $ 1.44 to Alice $1.95 through....Ularu $2.07 Curtain Springs $2.35 covering the OOdnadatta road $2.10 + to Coober Pedy$1.72 across and down through the Flinders Rangers $1.85 -$1.98 Renmark $1.45,,,, long range fuel tank came in very handy ( wish i had known about Curtain springs though that one hurt >:()

There are many different apps available for fuel watching.
However most are user based.
Wiki camps have one which also has a handy fuel usage tracker.
I also have petrol spy.
Or you can jump on the cp and Google fuel watch.

Don't know what your complaining about
Try $1.85 for diesel + 7.5c a Km road user tax - Correction 0.075c
Or $2.85 for petrol
But we're not allowed to go anywhere any way :(

Remember those in the petrol strikes in the 80s. Had 2 # plates for the bike back then.... :D
Living at Kurnell next to the refinery, if you saw all the cars parked up at Marton hall - you knew instantly to fuel up straight away as chances are it was a strike meeting...

You have a tag in ya window showing how many K's you've paid up to on your odometer (Heavy vehicles have a hub meter)
If you are caught over the fine is what you are in arrears + 6 or 8 (I can't remember) times that, so the fines can be huge
Sorry it's 0.075c a km not 7.5c
Cost me around $750 for 10,000 km on the 200
Just saw 91 for $1.98/ltr.... hate to see what 98 is going for...
diesel for $1.73 at same place
The fuel price in perth used to work on a 1 week cycle, Tuesday was cheapest then jumping up no Wednesday by about 40c.
Now we are on a 2 week cycle so cheapest day is on every second Tuesday. Still some outlets selling below average.
Caltex started using new cycle and most others followed suit within a few weeks. Jumped last Wednasday for example $1.90 for ULP. Then slowly drops to about $1.50.

Motorists are being encouraged to shop around, with fuel prices expected to soar at the end of the month.
Fuel prices are the cheapest in eight months, with the national average fuel price hovering around $1.64 a litre – a drop of 8.5 per cent on the previous week.
In the regions, Australians were paying on average $1.71 a litre last week.
A recent Australian Competition and Consumer Commission report found prices had declined steadily since June.
But the end of a government cost-of-living measure could inch prices closer to the $2 mark overnight.
In March, the government halved the fuel tax by 22.1 cents, as the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and production cuts, sent oil prices skyrocketing.
From September 30, fuel prices will rise 25.3 cents a litre.

I use both my Woolies card and my G'Day Parks app.
The G'Day parks app saves 4c on fuel at selected Coles Shell and also gives 10% discount on associated parks.
Makes a difference when you travel a bit, all adds up.
