Hi All, for those of you who have been following the "WhitePaw post" regarding the minature poodle puppy that was born blind, will be aware that I was able to provide a home for her and will pick her up Friday. The family are so exicted!!!
I thought as she is the new myswag puppy mascot that I will ask the intelligent members if they had any ideas for a name for this "special" puppy. We have a few but are not "sold" on any.
Regards
Greg
I just asked my 7 year old daughter as I was putting her to bed what she thought (after explaining the circumstances). She suggested "Blinky"

She walks like Stevie Wonder. Navigates like a dogem car. Licks like a windscreen wiper (then bites your finger). Pick her up and she goes to sleep on your arm....."I'm safe here!" We nicknamed her "bump", as in things that go bump in the night. ;D ;D

My 10 year old reckons because she has blinds on
Swaggie ... because without MySwag ... she just wouldn't be here anymore.

I like swaggie or swagger or lucky :)
You are good people taking this little dog on, well done. Karma will see you right, that I am certain ;)

And on that note I should say a big "thank you" to all the swaggers out there who offered to help out with this little puppy who's future was uncertain. It certainly took a load of our mind. Again, thanks all and sundry for your support.

My Swag Dog. !!!
G'day Greg
Sounds like a special little dog mate. Goodonya for giving her a home. Hope you and the family have years of fun with her. Don't forget to post up pics of her so we can all give her a big welcome from her extended family!
As for her name, how about "CeeTee" (CT)
Cheers
Matt
You could always call her "Swanny" after your CT.

Jas

Some good ideas guys.. My kids have come up with
- Noodle ( the poodle)
- Stevie ( as in stevie wonder although shes a girl)
- maggie ( cause she's black and white)
- Tilly ( first name of lady who introduced the first braille schol in australia)
- RamBO ( I know but it would be funny calling her out of the camper ) :)
Greg
I'm thinking "Taxi"
Whenever I get blind there is always someone calling me a taxi???

Isnt it funny how sometimes just one word can make me PMSL
How about Ciego. Its spanish for Blind.
Brett.
How about "Whitepaw"?
Snow
Sock
staggers
Matilda - the other name for a swag
How about Licorice, coz no doubt it will give you the sh#ts.
What about Brielle? Sort of like Braile but a name :)
I like the MSD name, but I would have also suggested "Scruff", remembering what that beautiful little dog looked like in the photo, and most poodle look like a Scruff. BY the way "Stevie" is also a girls name, as in Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac.
Tjupurula
I called one of my kats Norman as in Norman Bates ... when he was a kitten, he used to get me through the shower curtain whilst I showered. ;D
