Hello all, new to the posting thing so bear with me. Have bought a second hand Outback Camper Trailer a few months ago but with lots things going on have only been away for one night. This weekend was going to be a three nighter to give it a good test after a few mods, however the rain gods have conspired against us again, has been raining all night so the wife has said no camping.
Have to find a few more little things to do on the camper then.
SWMBO !!
Camping in the rain is a good way to test out how waterproof your new camper is. It's just a matter of talking the rest of the family into it. Stuck in a camper on a rainy day can have its benefits. ::)
Hi Twbapest Welcome to My Swag Got some pics of your setup cause your going to get asked

Just logged in. Live in Coburg Melbourne, but love the great outdoors. used to like bushwalking, but now with kids too hard so we have purchased a Camerom Camper Trailer. It's good, but have been towing it with a 99 Subaru Forrester. Just bought a 99 Landcruiser, 4.5 litre 6.

Hi Twbapest and welcome to My Swag
set the CT up in the back yard and season the canvas, this will let you find any leaks if any.
Oh and :worthles:
 bubba
We received 86 mm here last night south of brissie. A wet summer again it will be ;)
cheers
Hello 73bubba, I think that the canvas should be seasoned as the camper is about 12 years old and has been up in wet weather. It is more the mud/clean-up after the rain, only have small windows of time to get away between work at the moment.
