I'm looking at another 4wd in Canberra to buy and I live in mackay in Queensland
How does the change of ownership and rego work once I purchase a car in
another state. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Hey Nick, have a look at QLd transport... online or give them a call... nothing better than hearing it from the horses mouth...

I went from NSW to ACT and that required a Road Worthy inspection and that was pretty much it...  New Plates etc all extra cost but you can get reimburst for the current rego (or at least use to)
ACT Car hmmmmm   :)  good chance it has never seen the surf...  :)

I had a talk to the brother in law copper and he said just have proof of purchase
from interstate owner then just needs roadworthy and fees paid in QLD before 2 weeks are up which what it states on their website.
Kiwipete it's on a farm 95 model 100000kms Aluiminum panels ;D and solid axles
Immaculate condition Won't say anymore but you can probably figure out what
brand it is   :cup:
