Can't find this brand on the forums. Has anyone used these, available through Big W? The main one I hear is Thetford types. Love some feedback and or info
That looks the poo......................
everytime i read about a portable toilet i think about NewcastleKnight's tale of emptying one..
can't find the story though, but soo funny i almost needed a portable toilet just reading it.
Sorry for off topic
Can't imagine there is a lot of difference between them. Good thing about Big W, doesn't matter what it is, if it doesn't suit you, you can return it ;D.
Might try to clean it a bit first, though?
They look nearly identical to the oztrail ones which we bought one of on special for $99. The main difference that I found was the oztrail has dual flushing nozzles which are probably better, and also has a gauge for the bottom tank.
I would suggest going into the store and try it.
I don't think I'd want to scrimp on something which is designed to keep a pile of Shit contained, even if you can take it back when it fails.
If you get it from Big W you could probably take it back full for a refund. ;D >:D

How funny would that be.........seeing someone going Mr Bean or Frank Spencer style...................
We skimped and bought the budget $99 model from BCF. Bloody thing is a pain and I don't think it will be long before I fork out for a Thetford. The little slidy bit that actually opens and closes the loo is become harder and harder to slide (last camp I had to really wrestle with it to get it open) and it really hasn't been used much at all. My advise would be to send the extra and buy a decent one.
 Glenyse
Have you tried some silicon based lubricant on the slide?
A shovel is cheaper 8)

I'd hate to work on the refunds counter that day...
Thanks for the tips, guys. It would be sweet to return the item, used, as I even get a staff discount.
