just wondering about a chat room for this site ?
i reckon it would be a good idea .not being a computer geek I'm not sure if its possible .

Chat rooms are a hassle to manage and moderate. Forums are too, sometimes, but more control.
My experience of chat rooms, as an owner, is that they create issues and tend to attract a small subset of forum users.
Thanks for the suggestion, knock yourself out setting one up if you're keen.

bigjules yes i could see that it would be a hassle and more work to moderate .it was just a thought but now when i think about it there is a jeep site that had a chat room and it started out great BUT a few of the regulars got quite narky and where banned from the site so i can see it does have its problems .
but then again a know of a few fishing sites with chat rooms and its all good ......

This is like a chat room at times, the Mods are pretty good, everyone knows the rules and if you step over them, well, things are pulled into line.

Seriously, there are a lot of stirrers out there that just want to make trouble. I really don't have a problem with having to go through some hoops to become a member/participant with a group.
