Like the Kodak I guess time was up but sad in any case for a long established business.

It is a long video so to summarise the things that Luke mentioned that conspired against the company
Workers Comp
Payroll Tax
Cost of living
Fuel price
Loss of Beechy his manager
Competition
Unable  to get staff/ Staff unable to find housing in the business town ( Gloucester)

And I will add - handy men making there own drawers like me.

It should be noted this is only regarding the drifta drawer company but the Drifta Stockton company will trade on.

That's a real shame. Luke is a great bloke and gives excellent service to his customers. He even fully refurbished an older model draw unit for me free of charge, and I wasn't even the original buyer. It was in a second hand camper trailer I bought years ago.

Lightning Ridge tonight.
Survived Walgett last night - best Chinese we have had for ages at Walgett RSL.
Staff super friendly - nice place
Town has a bad rep, but hey, we are from Townsville - apparently the most unsafe LGA in Australia, so Walgett is no drama at all ;D
A tad cold at -1 deg last night.

Lorne Station caravan park at Lightning Ridge tonight. $30 for a powered site - can't beat that - out of town a bit - nice spot

The Burning Mountain - Mt Wingen rest area south of Tamworth
Has a burning coal seam under the mountain - apparently hot stuff, but still freaking cold here for us NQlanders. Gonna be 5 degrees tonight.
I now love diesel heaters more than my guitars I think. Maybe more than my kids if it gets colder...?  ;D
Thought the trip would be uneventful.... But got a few tales to share when I get a chance..Deflated airbag, warped rotors, Flat batteries, Plus an 'Unplugged' non-musical event nobody wanted that destroyed every caravan plug at the top of the Gibraltar Range....stay tuned to my caravan thread  8)

Agree.
When we installed the optic fibre between Mt Isa and Doomadgee, we had an auditor from down south rock up in a Commodore. He did the trip on the back road from Century Mine through Lawn Hill Station to Doom City no worries at all.I had a Patrol, but never needed to give him any help. ;D
