99.99% yeh. A couple of freshly sealed sections between Vic River and the Buchanan turnoff that are a little "slow"... but otherwise back to normal(ish).

We did the other side to Kununurra a month or so back then down the Duncan road. Can't remember any problems on that side either...

Friday evening I was at Sullivan Creek campground on the Vic Hwy in the NT. Just a quick overnighter on my way to Katherine for a vet and mechanic visit plus a grocery restock.

On the way back again on Saturday evening I was at Limestone creek camp about 80klm out of Katherine.

OK, so dimensions aren't critical, and it doesn't need to be tubular. I'd just use a piece of 10mm staino bar and drill a hole in each end for an R clip. Or if you have a welder you could weld a washer on one end, and use the R clip at the other end.
