Using an Ozpig for cooking on Fraser Island (K'gari) is generally permitted, but with certain restrictions. Campfires are prohibited in most areas, but self-contained, off-the-ground cooking appliances like the Ozpig are allowed as long as they use manufactured fuel (like heat beads or charcoal) and are raised at least 20cm off the ground (Quoted from Google search)

Are there any alternatives to the Ozpig that comply with Fraser regulations?

Not sure if it is something you might like but I saw a review for the Aussie built Stov which is a flat pack gas barbie. Not cheap (around Oz Pig range) but looked good quality and would take up next to no room.

I have no affiliation with them, never even seen one, but thought it might fit.

I have been to Fraser many times and I take a Webber go anywhere BBQ. Not sure if its too small for you.

I have checked with the rangers and it's fine to use - never had an issue.

Last time we went we took a Ute load of wood and had open fires.....at Dilli  Village. It's not part of the Nat park.

Should have mention, I have a Landcruiser 76 so a weber will be no good since i don't want to fit it inside
I have a hardshell rooftop tent which mean limited roof space with twin wheel carrier.

Will get a Stov Extremely Portable gas bbq, it is compact, take no space, can carrier outside the LC76 and the wood handle is a great thought to lifting a hot plate.

TOILET
Never used a composite toilet before, always camped at Cathedral and use the fire ring there (reason for previous question) and ablution block but want to try beach camping

I have a GottaGo composite unit.

What are the best mix? Sawdust, coffee beans, block?
And best place to buy them

We have just purchased a composting toilet but haven't had a chance to use it. However, they recommend Coir Peat which you can get from Bunnings https://www.bunnings.com.au/brunnings-15l-coir-peat-brick_p0274283?srsltid=AfmBOor9ife02xvg5mV7NoImSM99pw0H26L_rlmzY_t5AvntuYv_OJWy. Use about half a brick, moisten it (about 900ml of water I think it is, and away you go.

HOT WATER/SHOWER
I currently have a Coleman HWOD, never used it since always camp close to fresh water for a swim and have a gas stove for cooking/coffee

Want to have a hot shower so considering getting a Joolca Hottap.
I have the Coleman and have all connections, even a stand-alone water pump
Some bad reviews of the Coleman and since mine is a few years old (even not used, still old)
Joolca reviews are great and setup looks easy and quick

Any one have experience with both in a wagon setup?

Not in a wagon, but we had a Joolca in our CT & loved it!

I have the older style joolca. Used both with my camper trailer and tenting out of the Ute. I have the blue double ensuite/ shower tent with permanent plumbing installed, it's a very quick and simple setup. I have changed the tap on my camper kitchen to a mixer and plumb the joolca up to the camper kitchen as well as the shower.
It's equally at home hanging off the back of the Ute for a quick handheld shower.
The only semi negative about it is the battery pack use's 2 D cell batteries, these do last for ages. But it seem if left in for 6+ month, they don't have the power to operate the solenoids and igniter.
All in all a great bit of kit

Nature's Head recommend adding 2.5-3L of water to a full coir peat brick for their composting units.
I've found 2.5L doesn't quite get through the whole brick, but 3L works OK without getting the mix too damp.
I haven't had experience with other units.

Don't shoot me, I have a LC76, but same problem for both wagons.

Am considering Mission4x4 racks that bolt to the rear door that provide a platform above the twin wheel carrier

I have the current Joolca setup and tent with our CT.  Works well.

As GG says, my days of car-only camping are long gone.
Never a fan of it anyway....way too fiddly for me....
