Gidday folks, ive got answers to everything else here so thought i'd try a plumbing question. Ive just fitted a new toilet in the old spot and unfortunately its right near a drain so the floor slopes away and leaves a 15mm gap at the front, tapering out towatds the back. The old system had a separate cistern from bowl so you couldnt notice, but this one needs it jacked by 15mm at the front to make the cistern sit against the wall. Ive chocked it with HDPE packers and bolted to the floor and its sitting nice and level and stable so all good there. Just a bit concerned about adding that much silicone and how to go about it, but not sure what else to do nor if theres anything i havnt thought of? I did wonder about a 2 stage silicone application with first only going half way up and recessed in from the front so theres something to sit on for the next and facing layer. The toilet has the new rubber flexible seals so all good as far as connection to the waste goes. Am i just being a worry wart and just need to chug down some cans of courage (like when i did the rest of it) and PLAY ON!!!

If it's a concrete floor.. Fill the base of the pedestal with cement, to over full. Flip it up side down and set in position, then pack up around the edge with cement, where it's shy of the concrete floor.. If it's a timber floor.. sorry can't help.
4.2L TD Toyota Troopy, (Clarke's Country Camper Trailer, softfloor.) sold it and bought a Avan Ray small poptop caravan.

If you've secured it with blocking underneath, fill the gap with Bath/Kitchen silicone, It is anti fungal.
Do the best you can, having a fall like that, doubt there is much else you can do.
You can get foam packing rod, to push in before applying the silicone.

Construction grout, mix iit very stiff, fill it in between your packers, leave for 5 or 6 days, remove your packers and fill those gaps with grout.   :cup:

A good old plumber will only use a sand cement bed for pans on tiled floors and reserve the silicone bedding for when there is a commercial grade vinyl floor.
They will also subscribe to the motto, " the solder you see is the solder you don't need" and apply the same motto for silicone.

I hate when I see the new generation plumbers with their pipe crimping tools for the PEX pipe, plumb-quick joiners and cringe with the lack of skill as well as pride in their work.

I guess I am just a cranky old plumber.

I hate that PEX pipe work. Luckily our home is all crimp free
