Password Managers and Security

Just wondering what if any password managers and security people are using on their home pc's , phones and tablets ( real 1's , not Apple stuff)
Forget about "Lastpass" they've been hacked really bad over the last few months.
I'm looking at not only security but also ease of setup and use, "Logmeonce" is looking good atm

There's a known security flaw in Bitwarden

I use bitwarden.  Has browser plugin as well as phone apps. I don't use autofill so don't have an issue with the security flaw.

I use a note on my phone in a random folder, stored under a random name to store all my different passwords and logins.
As it is only a note, it cannot auto fill any document and only I know what the file contains.
Possibly not a solution for everyone, but works for me.
Of course I only have 40-50 accounts and passwords to manage. I'm sure it could become very tedious for a young bloke with hundreds of accounts and socials to manage.

I've been using https://keepassxc.org/ for years and years.  I have it on my windows PC, Linux pc, de-googled android phone running GrapheneOs.  Not on iOS anymore but had it on that too.  It can generate passwords too, which I use this feature to random generate 15-20 long string of random numbers, letters in both cases and special caractors.

Excellent software, opensource so no secret codes in it.

I have my 'kee master file' locked into Syncthing, https://syncthing.net/, so if I make a addition or update the password file on ANY device, everything gets auto updated on all devices immediately.  You could use any cloud service for this like Nextcloud, but syncthing is like your own server, open source and super secure.

No matter what you use, your master password to open and decrypt the file needs to be stupid long, but something like phrase or phrases or saying you really like.

I use KeePassX on my android phone, Linux and Windows laptops too..

IMWO - Nothing online is safe. More than one password manager has been hacked in past, same with huge corp's...
Keep it in a book.

Decision has been made, going with Keypassxc. Maybe not as "easy"as others but it at least if my pc is off line it can't be hacked, all the others are vulnerable whether you're online or not.
Lastpast is a good example, not sure how many times, but at least 4 or 5 times in the last couple of years
