Just over 1 million dollars. 

Alot of needy kids will benefit from those funds.

Had to get a prostate exam yesterday... what a horrible experience that was. Doctor had me in a cold dimly lit room and told be to take my pants off and bend over the end of the exam table. I asked him where i should put my pants & he said on the chair with mine

Picked up this clean old girl yesterday.
It will take over from my Wolseley 24/80 on the Variety Bash from next year.

1980 CM Valiant with 265 Hemi 6cyl.Factory 3 speed auto with floor shift.
Factory air con & power steering. Has only 2 small rust spots. It was owned by a guy in Warwick who is a mechanic & auto sparky,so car has been very well maintained.New exhaust from front to rear.Already changed to electronic ignition and the engine has only 185 tho k's on it.
Has new carby on it as the previous owner removed the sometime troublesome ELB that those engines came out with.

Paid $5900. Just out of rego,but will be changing over to Historic/club plates anyway.

Very happy with the car as it will be continuing on with charity work for Variety,the children's charity.

Yep, good buy right there.

Check the right side chassis rail around the steering box.

It'll be cracked, rusted or both for sure..... easy enough fix and they all do it.

Give it some decent plate thickness when ya do the repair.

So what s happening with the od Wolseley.

The wolseley will available for wedding/formal hire. Instead of the money going to myself,it will go into my fundraising to help the kids of Variety.A donation to charity so the car will still play its part.

I've always liked the old Valiants. I had a 225 slant 6, AP6 with Impala floor shift, when I was a young fella and wish I still had it.
