A number of years ago now, they did it with one of the Indy races on the GC.

The race had been delayed by rain / crashes so it was running ~1 hour over time, the cars were on the last lap ...

& they cut it off to go to the news at 6pm! ;D

Selling stuff on Facebook / Gumtree and dealing with tyre kickers. Not like I'm trying to make a profit, just trying to offload some stuff.

Put something on $150.
Him -"What's your last price?"
Me - $130.
Him. "$100"
Me - "my last price was $130"

Another
"How much for a + b + C + d"
Me "$60"
Her "$50"
Me "ok"
Her no response.

I put an ad on GTree for a bunch of old game consoles, 2 X Xbox Ones, Original Xbox, PLaystation 1 and assorted controllers, for $25.00 In the ad I state, "All equipment is as is, and untested. Everything included is in the pics"

Get 1st message - "can you tell me if XXXX works?" me "No". them "Oh OK" .. no more replies, me - delete
Next one different person - "do you have XXXX?" me, "can you see it in the pics?" them "No" me "Me neither" me - delete
Another person - "$5" me - delete.....

Can someone please tell me how the Australia Day fireworks celebration is disrespectful to bushfire victims?
Quick, shutdown every fountain, waterpark, swimming pool etc so we aren’t disrespectful to drought victims.

Just read in the news people complaining about Big W closing stores (which clearly not enough people were shopping at thus leading to their closure) and how disappointed they were that not much was left on the shelf! Talk about living in the age of entitlement!

Sorry to be the first Cab off the rank  8)

A news update during the cricket.
Energy Australia, warning consumers that prices will rise significantly due to the damage to infrastucture.
Wish I could run me business in their business model.
Just like insurance companies, we've taken a hit, so you pay more.
Here an idea, let your shareholders carry the can for awhile.

I'm just waiting for our insurances to go through roof.
 >:D
We should just take our business elswhere...if they cant provide a service than pay someone else...lol

Good change to rebuild without street connection.

I live in Sth West Sydney and have just received notification from Energy Australia informing me that my electricity charges are increasing, my gas charges are increasing and my solar feedback Tarif is decreasing.

Time to look for a better deal - goodbye Energy Australia

I don't think spending time chasing another electricity retailer is going to help.
Next that one will increase their charges, pay less fir feed in and then we have go through the same crap again in 6 months, and they know it.
You are screwed whether look around or not.
Grrrr

Well I rang Energy Australia and explained that I wasn’t happy with the proposed changes and asked if they could do better.  Told - sorry.

Ended up speaking with ‘Compare the Market’

Long story short, I signed up to a new deal with Energy Australia, yes Energy Australia on a better rate (except for the solar feed in) that I am on with them now (both Gas and Electricity).  How the f*** can they do that.

Had a chat with salesman about this and he told me that they get given deals from the suppliers.

We customers are mugs, and firmly believe we should aske around at least every couple of years for insurance, power, etc

Gets me wondering if the grubs are travellers or the locals that “own” the lands

I was thinking the same, and wondering why the crusaders didn't pick that up to, instead of just sitting it the right way up. Most travelers would be using fold up chairs I'd imagine. Well that's generally what they used to leave on Stockton Beach each holiday weekend, until they closed it to camping.

Hi,
To me, that amount of fruit, in one heap, suggests it may be a commercial group and not individuals.
Could be otherwise of course.
The last big mess we found was on private property, at a river junction, which a local community regarded as theirs to leave as much rubbish/cans/bottles/chairs etc strewn about as they wanted.
Cheers

Thing is...........you can drive along most dirt tracks these days and that scenario is everywhere.

No need to go to the cape to find that.
