Saw it on Face Book ....Soooo it must be true .. Good News story .. put up two hours ago .
Mum Sharrone Booth said a small gesture by two Queensland Police Service officers in Woorabinda taught her son Jayce respect, love and a sense of community.
The kids had the bin in the middle of the road when the police car came around the corner.
"My son hurries to pull the bin off the road to allow them to pass, but instead the car drives up to the side of the road," Ms Booth said.
"[Jayce] reckons his first thought was, "Am I in trouble?"
"The two police officers get out and start walking towards him... then Ricky (one of the police officers) grabs the wheelie bin and pulls it back onto the road.
"He says, "Game on, game on", they took their positions on the road and the kids started to smile.
"Ricky also taught the two boys how to bowl and was happy to bat a while. Thanks Ricky and Snowy, made my son's day.
"Bad experiences may make a person angry and retaliate, but a good experience teaches us that you're approachable and [to] respect you as a person and not just an authority figure."
