Aldi have some screw in tent pegs at the moment, $10 for 20 pegs, look identical to me (apart from colour) to the ones bunnings normally sell for $20 for 15. https://www.catalogueau.com/aldi/aldi-catalogue-special-buys-week-13-2020/#8

Bunnings seem to have pulled theirs from their website at the moment which they seem to do when ALDI has something comparative for cheaper. But here is a link that shoes their normal price https://pricehipster.com/product/AsKAVNQ_Gi3Dog4pH_lY6Q~HJ1Ki6pa~au

i have the bunnings ones and they work a treat...

Not sure if it’s a bargain, time will tell, had to replace my old Bosch blower vac which Shite itself last month. Bought a Ferrex blower vac at Aldi this week for $40, used it this morning, pretty good for the money, variable speed, 8000 to14000 rpm, lightweight, vac bag doesn’t let dust and Shit thru but not sure how long it will last, nice fine mulch of leaves, suitable for composting.

Quick trip to Bunnings yesterday for a few bits and pieces. While in the tool shop I was looking at a Dewalt kit, over $1100!.
Young fella asked if I liked Dewalt, told him it was out of my budget. He pointed to a brushless 18v kit on the counter. Said it was the last one, marked down from $900 to $499. Then said it would do it for $350 to get rid of it. Hit him up for $300. Boss wouldn’t go for it, so $350 it was.
Comes with 2x5ah batteries, charger, drill, impact driver, grinder, reciprocal saw and stack crate storage box.

Also picked up the ryobi misting fan, $99 down to $70.

I know there are a few people on here that have been known to enjoy a drink on the odd occasion ;D, so thought some of you may be interested in this:

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-spirit-top-the-modern-day-mini-bottle/

Yes, it's Indiegogo ::) :D, but that doesn't alter the fact that it seems like it could be a damn good idea, if for no other reason than cutting down on glass when you go camping!

Have been in contact with them & they have confirmed that they are planning on being available in Oz.

So, leaving it up to you to decide if you're interested or not ;D

This one's a real bargain, because there's apparently none in stock ;D

Spotted this from another forum:

Interesting idea if you're camping in the back of the car overnight.

800w pure modified sine inverter for $50 (+10 postage) seems like a very good deal. Was about $130 previously. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/292225201151

Our mate John has got some ripper clearance deals on at the moment.

If I was in the market for a stretcher swag I’d be jumping on me of these....

https://www.tentworld.com.au/clearance?utm_source=Tentworld+Club&utm_campaign=ccecd84de7-may-2020-edm-camping-toilets&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_e5f48677ac-ccecd84de7-61957561&goal=0_e5f48677ac-ccecd84de7-61957561&mc_cid=ccecd84de7&mc_eid=7bd32f7823

i am in the market for one of these, but i'm not 100% sure if the improvements in the new version are worth the extra $$$ ?

i'm not interested in the XL version of the old bunker (which they have discontinued and replaced with two versions the same size, just with different materials)...

interesting... thanks for the link...

Spotted 2 bargains in one day! 8)

Popped into Tentworld earlier to pick up some new wine glasses for the van ;D , & while browsing, spotted this:

https://www.tentworld.com.au/buy-sale/companion-epak-12v-coloured-led-light-strip-2-5m, which is a pretty awesome price :cup:

I can see that getting used around the barbie, under the annex & lots of other spots ;D

Also looking at a FlyBuys e-mail earlier & noticed:

https://www.flybuys.com.au/rewards/#/technology/accessories/DDJS

Supposed to be good to jump up to a 7l petrol :o or 5l diesel, so should be great to leave in the back of the car for Justin ;D

May not really be a bargain ???, but I had a heap of FlyBuys points just sitting there so decided why not ;D

I was in Aldi this morning and saw a stack of 160W solar panels for $169, down from $199. Don't know anything about them apart from the fact that the tag said they were originally around the $500+ mark. They are the 2 panel fold in half type.

Just thought someone might be interested.
