Which dam / lake, Steffo ???

Awesome looking spot, but I wouldn't like to take a boat out through the trees!

The first two pics are at Lake Nuga Nuga, between Expedition NP and Carnarvon NP. The second pair are at Lake Victoria, about 50k North of Biloela.
Nuga Nuga has great wildlife, with birds ranging in size from finches to emus, 'roos, echidnas and 'Warning', lots of field mice. A bloke camped there in a hybrid had an infestation and had to drive back to Injune to get some traps, poor bugger. He thinks, from the droppings, that they got in through the slide-out kitchen!

Are you ready for a change of diet ???

How about throwing a couple of slices of jellyfish on the barbie, instead of a nice juicy steak ::) :-\ >:D

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-09-23/jellyfish-sustainable-fishing-nutritional-delicacy-queensland/12692542

Don't worry, its "a dinner-plate delicacy in other parts of the world."

Although, ""The Chinese have been eating jellyfish as a delicacy," isn't a great recommendation, these days! :'( >:D

Well top soiled the yard on the weekend with some soil / chook poo mix

Had a smile as the pup tried to eat about half his body weight in chook poo thinking "that will haunt you later"
Had a laugh watching him laying in his back Saturday night with a "im really uncomfortable" look on his face
Had a crack up as i have never actually seen a look of relief on a dog before as he did his 4th morning business all within the space of 15 minutes

Serves the greedy bastard right he spend Sunday in his kennel getting over the whole episode

I lived and worked in China for a couple of years and can vouch for jellyfish as food. Cooked correctly it is delicious.

I've eaten dried and (I think) smoked jelly fish as bar snacks before, not too bad really.. Bit like bacon rinds. And braised jelly fish in some sort of sauce. It's like chewing on a mouth full of those Post Office lacka bands. Chewy with a crunch as you bite through them, but no flavour if it wasn't for the sauce.
4.2L TD Toyota Troopy, (Clarke's Country Camper Trailer, softfloor.) sold it and bought a Avan Ray small poptop caravan. I miss being able to acces the little tracks off into the scrub.
