Got the ride on mower out for the first time in about 12 months... started first go (well, it would do with the Land Cruiser battery straight to the starter motor and a good dose of Start Ya Bstard... but that's the normal way of starting the damn thing) and then stopped 100m down the road... pushed it back, put some fresher fuel in and some wax and grease cleaner, and repeat... got 100m through the paddock grass this time... then the belts started to slip and smoke... and then the thing stalled on me... push it back 200m and put it away this time.

All in a productive effort at cutting the grass... now, back to looking for small tractor and slasher instead....

Yeah, we did see the friends who we had the lambs from the other day. Its tempting to get the buggers back now to get the grass down... They went as they were starting to eat everything in reach.

It was good to see how green it is just west of Brisbane, near Somerset Dam.

Got a nice upgrade on my Corolla hire car today.

It wasn’t only getting bumped up to an M series BMW X5 that made me smile.
But driving around Sydney without having to worry about indicators and getting priority at the very end of every merging lane sure did have me grinning.... ;D :P
