Been trying to go walking daily for exercise, but going for a walk to nowhere for no reason - im really struggling to get motivated.. if I need to go somewhere for a reason i dont think twice, specially the letterbox.
looked into treadmill, but they are worth diamonds.
Maybe try some audiobooks on longer walks...

Try going with others, I'm really enjoying the every other day walk with the family. Although we're fortunate as we have bush trails 100m away.

Started walking after being Medically Retired from work.   Walking was good but rather then boredom I found I was walking too much and had no time then to do the other things I wanted to.  Once I got some fitness back I stopped the walking and started 'working' on my place.
Cheers

Got to spend half the day out on the water with my daughter,  her partner and my two grandsons. Daughters partner had built a small BBQ Barge in their  backyard,  that they launched yesterday ..
Apart from the transfer from the ramp to a mooring about two k's away this was its first shakedown trip .. Both 4 year olds caught a nice little silver bream each, We also found a latest edition top of the range  I-phone in a dry case on the river bed  in about 3 m of crystal clear water .. So all in all a good maiden voyage .. A great day weather wise and glad  to get out  even with the bung arm .

Mate you dont miss the open cheque book to keep it though . And thats a baby compared to two that pulled in and tied up .. at least 5 times this ones length, electric side thrusters front and rear to aid with docking and all the bells n whistles someone with a stash of $$$ could ever want .
Even with a 25 kt crosswind at the time, they Slotted into the warf as easy as a 3m tinnie .

They are charging it up to see if it works first, If it lives hopefuly they can get some details and get in touch with the owners.  If not  maybe a face book search then the boys in blue .
Dont these new phones have a GPS search alert thingo if they get lost ? ..  maybe the sim card could  be read by a telstra shop ? .

interesting story

Quote
BEGINNERS LUCK: HAVE YOU EVER STUMBLED ACROSS BURIED TREASURE?

When Kerry and Peter Leemon moved to Dargo two years ago to take over the Dargo General Store, Kerry was looking for an outdoor hobby that would make her explore the local area, learn about local history and get out in the sunshine.

Peter bought her a cheap a metal detector for a birthday present and one afternoon in March 2019, the couple decided to go for a drive up to Collins Flat.

“We decided to go on a bit of a bush walk this day. We had no idea what we were doing, but decided to walk along the high terrain and then the detector started beeping”, says Kerry.

After digging around to investigate, the couple came across a small pill bottle caked in mud and dirt. Curious as to why the bottle was beeping, Kerry dusted bottle, which soon revealed a lucky surprise!

“I started scratching the bottle and all these gold flecks were falling out of it”, says Kerry.

As it turned out the bottle contained around $15,000 dollars worth of gold (in today's value), that belonged to a miner by the name of John Collins, who had passed away in 1878.

I found an Iphone on the track leading onto Stockton Beach, about 12 months ago. Screen was pretty smashed, but luckily it was still operable, and wasn't locked. Checked out the the call list, I can't remember how I even found it, because I don't use Iphones, then called the most recent number, which had a few missed calls from.

Turned out to be someone who was camping with the bloke who lost his phone, and they had been searching for over an hour around where they were camped. I told them where I was and they drove back out to get it. Bloke was pretty chuffed, offered me $60.00 as a reward, but I settled for a cold beer that they seemed to have an ample supply of.  :cup:
4.2L TD Toyota Troopy, (Clarke's Country Camper Trailer, softfloor.) sold it and bought a Avan Ray small poptop caravan. I miss being able to acces the little tracks off into the scrub.

The look on the Physio guys face when I told him Im not here to  fund his retirement . Was trying to tell me I need  more appointments for my arm .. Says I'm all good to return to full work duties " but take it easy on the arm "  and continue doing on the arm, what Ive been doing physio and massage wise ..
Well then why would  I need to come back  and have you do at my expense, Physio exercises with you, that I'll already be doing ..     ;D ;D

The find my iPhone thing only works if they've got it enabled... They can put a message on the lock screen to tell you who to call too, assuming they know how
