Kids cooked a wonderful meal last night,  Atlantic Salmon, lightly grilled, salad and a few chips.
And washed up.
Cheers

Postman for once actualy knocked on the door and delivered a parcel to us ...  :cup:  .
On board air  tank kit has arrived, Not too bad delivery time either,  just on 5 days from Victoria ..
Bit dubious about handling the package etc though, With all the uncertainty of China Virus staying active on hard surfaces ..

Wow. What a fantastic story.  What a wealth of information and ingenuity he has. Thanks for sharing thay Bird. I don't watch the news anymore because it's all biased and bullShit but I could watch stories like that all day long. Would love to see his mill in person.

Oh and for the record....it wasn't a common knocker engine in his log handler, it was a Commer knocker. A 3 cylinder 6 piston engine used in Commer trucks. My old man used to drive one pulling milk tankers back in the 70s. Used to hear him coming from 3 miles off.

Interesting
https://oppositelock.kinja.com/the-commer-ts3-2-stroke-diesel-sounds-like-the-weirdest-1695889471
It's bizarre. It's a truck. With A three cylinder, six-piston, opposed (literally) engine, that...well....it's supercharged and sounds like 6-zillion rpm when at 2,400. Have a listen, try to hear the configuration, and the blow-off valve, and then jump below to see what the magic weirdness is about.
Clear cut away of the engine in action!!!

Feels good doesn’t it... :)

After about 30 odd years out of the pool, I was just making 1.5k about a month ago.
Last night I smashed 2.5k and probably could have pushed a few more.

Well done. Once you get to that point it's like going for a walk.

I was doing 3k's a few years ago. Got out 'cos I was bored, not tired.

Like I said, a few years ago.... ;)

Yeah that's my issue i find chasing the black line meditative for a while and then it gets boring

Going to mix it up a bit this season and take the boat down to the sand islands and swim against the current as more of a timed swim to keep it interesting

Been trying to go walking daily for exercise, but going for a walk to nowhere for no reason - im really struggling to get motivated.. if I need to go somewhere for a reason i dont think twice, specially the letterbox.
looked into treadmill, but they are worth diamonds.
