So is Pallet jack going to ban Banana benders from crossing into other states too ?? ..
After all, Qlds infections are a home goal and wer'nt caused by South of the border types crossing into Banana bender land ....  The China Virus Wanker infectee's all decided leave the state,  travell to  hotspots,   get sick lie about it and then bought it home to the roost  ..

they can go out, but not come back in... (hopefully)... at least without a mandatory quarantine...

why take the risk?

every state should close their borders, with mandatory quarantining in place, if absolutely necessary.

simple.

the name-calling and jibes between states is getting really old, around here.  and the smiley emoji excuse that some use is childish, in the extreme... so, having that at the end of some ridiculous rant or dig at someone else, makes it perfectly OK?

give me a break.

let's just get on with it and support each other.  no state is 'better' than another.  each state has forum members who call it home.

You're quite right there, Edz :'(

She's "strongly discouraging" anybody from leaving, & as Jeeps said, anybody who does is supposed to go into quarantine, so I'll guess we'll see ???

Fingers crossed!

I agree about shutting boarder to all but really necessary travel, like truck transport etc. But the interstate rivalry is just good natured banter, and i don't see why people should take it to heart... Well maybe only Queenslanders... hahaha  >:D
4.2L TD Toyota Troopy, (Clarke's Country Camper Trailer, softfloor.) sold it and bought a Avan Ray small poptop caravan. I miss being able to acces the little tracks off into the scrub.

I think Keith has made what most would see as a fair and reasonable statement.

Are you saying you believe there's no point or circumstance where it might wear thin?

No, i never said that at all..... You just did, but not me, I just put a pair of rolling eyes there.

I was referring to Keith saying..."Up to a point" and then not telling us, where that point is.
Was Brian352 up to that point, miles away from that point, or past that point?  ???

You see, Keith only gave Brian352 half the information.

Now I thought that you were a bit more intelligent than that Kev, so I will spell it out for you as simply as possible.

Victorians have been in stage 3 lock down for several months now, those rules you can look up for yourself, you know, on government sites, not f/b etc, that wasn't too bad.

Now the majority of Victorians have gone into stage 4 lock down as well as having to wear a mask as soon as we step outside our properties. Do you understand just what that means ? and how restrictive they are ? if you don't then I suggest that you go and  have practice run for a week.

What's the point of this little diatribe,WE ARE FLUCKING SICK OF THE LOCK DOWN, and the morons that will not do the right thing, and the "jokes" about it.

Victorians have gone past the point of seeing anything "funny" in pointed statements/jokes about the virus and Victorians.
Now do you understand where the "point " is ?

In a past life....as part of my job I had to wear a dust mask, earplugs and safety glasses.....EVERY day for years.

No, in NSW we don't have to wear a mask...yet, but for the good of everyones health, it is a very small price to pay.

I think of it this way....mask or ventilator....pretty easy choice eh....

Even if I had to walk around in a ronald mcdonald suit with a gas mask on....still an easy choice eh ?

And a mask is a hell of an improvement for some of you Victorians anyway !!   ;D ;D

Wearing a mask isn't the only problem here Gronk. Image being locked down in your home for this extended period. The loss of income or their jobs and careers are a constant worry. Family violence and suicide are very real issues in these times. A little bit of empathy couldn't hurt.

Mate, I know it can't be pleasant down there, especially not knowing whether the idiot beside you has been doing the right thing ??? >:(, but I thought we were all trying to help just a little bit, working on the "Laughter is the best Medicine" theory (at least I was).

Apologies if I had things by the wrong end of the stick :'(

Nah no worries Fizzie. Just feelin' it for some of the poor buggers down here. I'm  actually in a pretty good place. I live in a place where alot of people would love to go camping, I'm totally off grid so no bills and I've never really been a people person so social isolation is good with me. I can understand the humour and where you guys are coming from, but I also try and see it from the aspect from people less fortunate than myself and, well, as I sez...I feel for them.

Can understand that mate...but think of the old days when they slept and ate in a railway tunnel because that was the only way to stay safe....these are extreme times ...and one we hopefully never have to endure again...and from the "safer" states, we hope ALL of you come out the other side OK. !!
