Didn't see anything about it - bad ???

I could only imagine, Actually, no I couldn't even begin to imagine what a bad fire in that place would be like :o :o :o

I reckon we'd be able to see the smoke from here though!
I have seen locals that work there commenting that they will be open today.
Pallet, paint Fire.

They stuffed up alright but I couldn't make out what was going on at first. I thought it was a snake had fallen out of that gum tree.  ???

Foo

And here I was thinking I must find out the brand and style of tyre you have on the big girl to DRIVE ON - you know just asking for a friend next time they have someone trying to 'sting them' :)

Well, that didn't go to plan.
Hired a Cherry Picker to replace a cracked eave sheet on a two story house.
No room down the side for a scissor lift, couldn't use next door for access.
Applied hand brake(cherry picker), unhook tow safety chains, windup hitch.
Ball releases and machine rolls down the hill.
Missing Brick work, hitting fence, smashing rear lights.
Two hour job turns into 6 hours, recovering machine,  fixing fence.
Somes ya win, others ya lose.
Time for a beer.

Jeez that's a bummer Hairs.  Lesson learnt? Don't  trust hand brake on any hire gear. In fact, don't trust any form of brake on any hire gear.

Lesson also learnt for them.
Supply wheel chokes, and inform client of their use.

Nobody got hurt, Thank God.

So thankful, nobody else was onsite.
It only traveled 3 meters, the weight that it carries would kill someone for sure.

Google Maps asked to stop users 'walking' on Uluru through street view function
Parks Australia has asked Google to remove images of the top of the sacred Indigenous site, Uluru, which allow users to walk on its summit.

Traditional owners have banned visitors from the top of the rock, which has spiritual significance to Anangu, Uluru's traditional owners.

Google Maps' street view function allows people to move around environments as part of a virtual walking tour.

It contains 360-degree images of the summit of Uluru, allowing users to effectively defy the visitors' ban.

A spokesperson for Parks Australia said it had, "alerted Google Australia to the user-generated images from the Uluru summit that have been posted on their mapping platform".

Parks had "requested that the content be immediately removed in accordance with the wishes of Anangu, Uluru's traditional owners, and the national park's Film and Photography Guidelines".

Better ban flights over it too just incase... ****in idiots

I haven't had a beer in months.
Been sticking to straight spirits mainly.
But I love a good English ale. Picked up an old favourite at Dan's- Old Peculiar, then saw this one that I hadn't tried before.
Not a bad drop. Just a dodgy name....

Named after a pub in Kent, UK. The pub is about the same age as Shepherd Neame Brewery, and about 15K distance. (And about 30Km from where I was born)

https://www.bishopsfingercanterbury.co.uk/

My family used to own 3 or 4 pubs around the area, in the olden days, and I think most of the local pubs were supplied by Shepherd Neame.

$7.19 per bottle (500ml)

The Old Peculier I bought at the same time was $9.39.

Not super cheap, but nice to indulge in occasionally ;D

No it is very old.. For something a little more modern, you could try "The Cock Inn" but it's further away near Maidstone.
