What is the best mod you have done to a rearfold camper trailer?

Mine so far is just adding a led light  inside and upgrading to a larger battery

Definitely fitting a diesel heater.  Also added more 12 volt outlets. You can never have enough.

Putting a spacecase on the front hatch area to store camp chairs, a small ladder and levelling ramp in. I used chain and turn buckles to hold it in place and never touched it in 8 years once fitted in position. Being we paid top dollar for our trailer I never needed to do anything else, it came with everything we needed and then some.

Teaching the kids to fold it up. ;D ;D ;D

Haha yeah that would definitely be a good thing

Bought a large Kings roof top bag for the top of the folded up camper. It takes all the loose stuff that drives me crazy during packup like chairs (4), door mats, shower tent, fire drum, table, fold up pantry, left over wood plus all the kids toys etc etc. Throw it all in, zip it up, strap it down and we're off.

Best 80 odd dollars ever spent.

My C/T is a KK, so after a few years of stuffing up batteries (there was 4 x 35 a/hr) I removed all 4 , removed the rear battery box and made a box big enough to hold a single 100 a/hr deep cycle. The existing front battery box is now for storage and I remounted the other one on the other side of the camper on the chassis.
I've even told Kimberley Kampers about this mod but never had a reply. I believe they were putting in 6 of these 35 a/hr batteries on later models UNDER THE BED. Dumbest idea ever,

we have 6 batteries in our KK, never had an issue with them really. We had one set replaced under warranty about a year after buying the trailer, and last year i replaced those 7 odd year old batteries. Will admit weight wise the set up isn't great, but it's all worked fine for us.

Yeah, I probably had a couple or 3 years with no problem. Then it just got annoying and even the 4 mounted on the side were a pain in the arse to get out (boxes were simply too small. I just saw the ones under the bed as difficult to access especially seeing the camper had to be open.
Have looked at half a dozen new campers at caravan shows and all of them have very accessible batteries. It's definitely a deal breaker for me.

Selling it.

But after looking at the recent 4wd Caravan Camping Show I didn't mind the Cub Campers Forward Fold.
