any idea which route you are taking?...only ask as last year we did Sturt National Park from Cameron Corner then onto Tibooburra and Hungerford to look at Currawinya National Park...nice drive to Sturt Nat Park from Cameron Corner and a spectacular view a top the jump up there, drive from Tibooburra to Wanaaring was boring as bat Shit, but plenty to see around Currawinya (just ask the publican at Hungerford pub, he's full of info).
