Picked up a new Daiwa baitcaster for 30% off and noticed they have the Oztent RS-1 swag for $450.

I quite like the look of these but not sure I want/need a new swag.

Visited the Macpac clearance store today in Fitzroy. All I wanted was a beanie for tomorrow, my son is MTB racing in the morning and it is going to be 4 degrees. I walked out with a beanie for me and a fleece and storm jacket for my son. They had 50% off clearance prices on kids gear which was a ripper deal.

http://goldcoastexpo.com.au/

Just got an e-mail through with a discount code for early tickets

Anyone working in town...

If you feel like a sausage breakfast, or lunch, or early dinner, head down to Federation Square today.

Bunnings is promoting its Victorian click-and-collect launch with a sausage sizzle pop-up from 7am.

You can get a free sausage (onions buried of course) in exchange for a happy snap on social media. The sizzle will be open until 6pm.

That’s alright their caravan service and parts shop front is only 30 minutes from my place. If it is a fake I could go and throw it through their front window or something.... ;)

I had intended to drive over there and pick one up in person this week, but now I’ve just saved myself $50 and a 1 hour return trip, I’m pretty happy.

Been on the lookout for a double ensuite tent myself, can't seem to find one that fits the bill though, requirements are no longer than 2.2m , external doors to both sides, an internal door and must be quick to set up.

The new Joolca is the closest thus far but only has one external door, is also a little on the pricey side but is probably the quickest set up I have seen.

This one sets up easy / packs up fairly easy "  TILL " you go to do the twist  in on itself .. I tried it every which way for five odd minutes then bingo it went how it should .Just got to remember how to do it again next time ..
The supplied thin metal pegs will be replaced with decent size types, I can see this one will move around more and the sides will flex inwards further in strong winds, was a pain in the Exo frame too for the toilet side . I'll work out a light weight fix for this though .. Another plus is its about  4 kg  lighter  and packs relatively flat, which will work better for us  ..

Yeah, I actually have this one https://youtube.com/watch?v=Lp5A5hsQ2C8 and don't find it to bad, just a bit to long to fit on the flip over boat rack properly where I now set it up. The pulling the sides apart is actually the trickiest bit I find, especially if there is a bit of wind about. I'd be happy with this type again but they all seem to be 2.4m long when I want 2.2m or less.

Edit just found the Weisshorn pop up double which looks like it might fit the bill, it's cheap too, but gets some pretty bad reviews.
