Probably soon to be tearing up some tracks and giving people ammunition to call for their closure.

A lawnmower would have more flex that that.............right at the end you can see how stiff the suspension is...

Not to mention that they wouldn’t/couldn’t drive it onto the trailer when the ramp fell off. ;)

Oh yeah, for sure... right engine, wrong car.

It just seems like, well, to me anyway, that he's dirty on the world if someone has something he hasn't got.

I tell ya what though, wank or not, i'd drive the Shitty ol fourby with a blown big block, even if just for Shits and giggles.

I agree. I have nothing bad to say about him and can commend him for his 25 years representing his community. It is his volunteering that I do admire.

I once meet him at a RFS shift changeover at our station ( our crew were being stood down)when our community was under fire attack in the Blue Mts. He was there as part of a crew with the Davidson RFS  on their Cat 1 tanker. He was prepared to risk his safety to protect a community that in his position he did not need to be there but never the less he was did so. He didn't do this for a photo opportunity but rather as community service.

I think most people don't like him as he is old school and has a habit of telling it like it is.  In today's world some people are upset at hearing that

Yep, he is old school and completely out of touch with his electorate. When his electorate voted overwhelmingly for same-sex marriage, he ignored their wishes and abstained.

I am sure he is a great volunteer but that isn’t what we need in our politicians. They need to think and act much more broadly than that.

people don’t like him because he tried forcing his religious beliefs upon them through his political position (ie anti abortion and gay marriage), and the fact he was behind the ousting of Turnbull which many people didn’t like, as it became another Rudd / Gillard  tit for tat Shit fight in party fight situation. Yes Turnbull outed him, but the way Abbott acted after that wasn’t in the countries best interest, he was more about revenge instead of the good of the country IMO.
At the end of the day I was happy to see both Abbott (who until a few years ago I had no issue with) and Shorten lose this weekend, don’t like either of them myself.

Exactly.
Not only was he completely out of touch with life in 2019, it was all of the wrecking, undermining and sniping that stopped the government from getting anything done that pissed off so many people.

Hopefully now the troublemaker is gone the rest of the fossils will get back in their boxes and let the government govern.

Interesting comments about Abbott
I am sure I saw an interview (I may be wrong) were Tony and the Independent debate policies.
The independent was all about climate change, when asked if she have solar, she said no, when asked if she have batteries, she said no. Tony answer yes to both.
Tony is the only leader that took 22 seats (2013) from the left
Anyway, it was time to go because there will be no more distractions.
Without him, Malcolm would have still been the PM and would have lose the election.
One mans lost, but the Country win, that is a good result for me.

There is absolutely no question, Tony was the best opposition leader ever in the history of Australian politics. Give him any topic and he could persecute a flawless argument against it.
But is that really what our nation needs today?

He would have made an awesome prime minister in 1945.
