Muppet news reporters on tv telling us we are in for heatwave conditions here in SEQ next week, then the temperatures they give as coming are 31, 32 , 32, 33, & 33 degrees...WTF, that is standard day time Summer temperatures here in SEQ, it's not a heatwave by a long shot. Get out of your air con houses, offices and cars for a while and maybe you might realise the world isn't 25 degrees FFS...the misses told me to stop swearing at the idiot on tv...lol

Did they then tell you that the afternoon storm will in fact be a catostrophic rain event?

Thats about how they reported this weeks drizzle and wind in NQ.................

and why do the dumb bastards need to stand outside in a raincoat to tell us it's raining? We can see it's raining by looking out the bloody window, dont need a live cross to the weatherman on the footpath to prove it.

And what's with all the "live on scene" reporting in the news these days. For some reason they cross "live" to a reporter on the footpath outside a police station to tell us about something that happened yesterday, and then we get all the facebook posts displayed on the tv as if it was some sort of investigative journalism...................

They told us it would be a hot dry summer here in Sydney. Feels like it’s rained every few days since the start of summer

Why The Fark would I be getting text messages from Clive Palmer's political hacks?
I've never clicked on link or visited a website to do with the retards.
Telling me to visit a web site to voice my protest against the major parties.
This upcoming election is going to be a Shit fight, don't be a muppet and fall for this Shit.
So it's a political expense, so our taxes will pay to piss ourselves off.
Just great.

That's was what I thought too.
As Bird mention,

Political parties exempt from privacy laws

The incident spotlights the lack of regulation governing how political parties, as well as their contractors, can use the personal information of Australians without clear consent.

And then he claims it as an expense and us taxpayers pick up the tab.
Nice,
Bastard.

This may seem like small scale compared to most.. But it is really starting to irk me big time.....

To set the scenario, we live in an area roughly triangulated by the Ipswich Motorway, the Logan Motorway and the Centenary Highway.

It seems like every Friday and Saturday night our local Bear in the sky flies triangulated flight paths between those three points.. I know, I know, the Bear is tracking speeding, stolen vehicles, ect ect.. Do not have a problem with that at all..

But he never has any nav lights on. My son in law flies for a international airline ( not Qantas BTW), and he has a laptop with software which he links to something or other and can see and track all transponders in real time. But, guess what? There is not even a squawk from that machine..

Now he seems to fly around 500 ft. (seen the heat signature with night vision), but directly above that are two flight paths into Eagle Farm... When aircraft are on ILS and heading for the outer marker, they should be around 1700ft. So that gives a vertical separation of 1000ft. So, question?? What does the big boys anti collision alarms say??
Or does ATC just tell them not to worry about the Bears playing in the woods??

So in my way of thinking is that if any 'normal' aircraft or citizen were to cruise around without nav lights and their transponder switched off, they would be locked up...
So, why and how come ????

The second part is more personal, and maybe why it aggravates me so much.. They seen to be flying a Eurocopter, probably a EC135.. These choppers have a solid block mounting the four blades.. The principal is that the blades flex to absorb the dynamics rather then having a lot of moving links and bits and pieces.. And the four blades do flex a hell of a lot less then a UH 1.. But with my past and a couple of hours of low fast runs then 90 degree turns, it all gets a bit much..

Thats it... Rant over...

I’m surprised no one has ‘edited’ any of his billboards that are going up all over the place.

His new slogan of “Put Australia First” is just screaming out for corrections.

“Put Clive First”
“Put Profits First”
“Put Australians on unemployment”
Etc. etc.

The same way a police car can go thru red lights, speed, pull up in no parking zones and coppers can use their mobile phones while driving. Its their job and they have exemptions to be able to do their job. Personally I have "never seen" (no pun intended) polair down here flying without lights and they spend a lot of time in my area

Same only ever seen black hawks flying in my area without lights as I live near a RAAF base. Literally can’t see them, but that doesn’t happen often.

they do it regularly here in Brisbane....sitting in mates backyards around a fire at Brown's Plains area and you hear the chopper, but it then it becomes like a competition to see who can spot it....occasionally you'll get a glimmer of it if you are lucky that eventually gives it's location away, but often you just can't see it at all. We don't really get the chopper flying over where I live very often, but whenever visiting mates down in that Brown's Plains and Greenbank area, I always mention to them how much i notice it's flying over there.
