11,000 scientists have signed a paper backing climate change is happening. You don't  think so? Tell us your qualifications to say it's  not happening.

considering one of the scientists on the list is:

Professor Micky Mouse Institute for the Blind Namibia

i'd take this with the pre-requisite grain of salt...  consensus is not evidence.

(list of signatories is in the supplementary data section)

I assume when you said astrology, should have been astronomy, as my "star sign" has FA to do with my life, let alone anything.

It is less their degree but their area of work. Paleontologists, archaeologists, minerals, weather, environmental science, and others would have areas of work that can identify changes.
To think humans aren't effecting the environment, and in turn possibly the climate if wrong.  This is my opinion based on what I've seen in my life.  The local tip used to have a burn off to reduce the waste. Some of the stuff poured down drains and in to the waterways.

What is the solution? I don't know but every little bit helps.

The climate has been going up and down for ever. The graph at the top of https://climate.nasa.gov/evidence/ does show that.

If people really cared about other people they would be focussed on fixing poverty before worrying about climate change.

How do you know the two aren't linked?

Climate change affecting global poverty, affecting world peace.....

11,000 scientists......but they don't say what sort of scientist ? A bachelors degree in meteorology is the closest one to climate change, but a degree in astrology doesn't cut it !!

Climate change is happening....been happening for millions of years.   How do we stop the human race from making it happen quicker....eliminate 1/2 the population and go back to living in a cave. Now, that won't happen, so anyone got a better idea ?

x2 the only way to slow climate change is to stop breeding

I never understood what companies buying carbon credits would do? Talk about a scam.
The money would just like everything else, disappear like a fart in the wind.

X2.  He was the voice of my motorsport childhood.  Tricky Dickie, Larrikin Larry, Peter Perfect, The Grouse Rouse and all the Hardies Hero's.

He was still doing ads for Avalon Speedway (The Place for Pace) on the radio, even for this weekend's event.

RIP.

Oh no, looks like somebody was wrong...
Um, they don't hide in bushes  ;D. A police officer is not going to,stand in a bush for 4 hours at a time  ;D

Quote
A Queensland motorcyclist has exposed a police officer who was hiding behind a bush at the side of the road to catch speeding drivers.
Ronnie Kaye spotted the police officer when he was riding his motorbike outside of Advancetown in the Gold Coast hinterland.
The policewoman is well-camouflaged behind the scrub beside a rocky cliff on the country road.

"OWH&S states that if you're working on or within 3 metres of a road you must (by legislation) wear a high vis vest as a minimum," Mr Kaye said when he posted the video on Facebook this week.
"After some safety advice and my personal opinion I wished the officer a good day.
"If they get hurt, guess who pays for it? Taxpayers do."

Ronnie Kaye filmed the policewoman obscured by a tree. (Facebook)
The video posted by Mr Kaye cuts ahead to the trees and bushes completely removed.
"Mission completed," he said.

Queensland Police defended the police officer's actions.
"While it is not standard practice for officers to conceal themselves behind bushes, officers are provided with the opportunity to deploy away from the police vehicle," a statement to 9News said.
