Wondering if the battery charger has been sat in the engine bay and then the bonnet closed.  The 240v lead then wedged and cut between the bonnet and guard or radiator support?

Yes, I was thinking the same. So that all the other stuff about connecting to the fence, or the fence being electrified has bugger all to do with it.
4.2L TD Toyota Troopy, (Clarke's Country Camper Trailer, softfloor.) sold it and bought a Avan Ray small poptop caravan. I miss being able to acces the little tracks off into the scrub.

Ahh, that would make sense, so yes, the whole truck is live, so the cable from the bull-bar across to the fence is also live.

As you say Troopy, nothing at all to do with the fence itself.

Jeez, what are the chances ??? :'(

About the same amount of chances as when running a lead out of an aluminium framed sliding door, unfortunately. But people still do it.

apprentice on a job site I was on years ago got fried when the builders trailer he grabbed to get tools out of was live....the lead running to the trailer had a dodgey plug on it (or exposed wires or something), only thing that saved this kids life was when a tradie mate of mine (huge fella that worked part time as a bouncer in the good old days) saw it happening, he ran over and crashed tackled the kid off the trailer and saved his life. The kid ended up with cracked teeth and other ongoing health issues, but so nearly was his death onsite that day.

And what's the chances of her paying any of it.
She got a 7mil divorce settlement so should still have the lazy halfa mil, it's so messed up for both him and the kids, imagine finding out that your Dad isn't actually your Dad and that you Mum cheated on him for years and lied to you about who your father was  :(

Maybe the kids will wake up, abandon their 'Mother'. Then go to the one that cares about them, for who they are

Slow to 40 KPH emergency vehicle rule claims a policeman this time .. Nice of the top cop  bloke to recognise its difficult to slow from 100 to 40 KPH safely in certain instances

Now they will spend millions trying to work out that this is the most stupid rule that was ever made law, being caught up in it twice now it wasn't hard to work out that it would kill people, probably those that the dumb arses were trying to protect

As the top-cop (& isn't he a fine study of a fit, healthy cop? >:D) said "slowing from 110 to 40 is too much" ::)

Instead of making it "reduce to 40", make it "reduce speed by 20 kph" when passing.

40 would have been picked as it is survivable if you get hit. 90 isn't.
I don't know the answer, but if they have different lower limits depending on the speed most people will be so busy trying to work it out that they would have passed before slowing down.
Prior to this law a surprising number of police cars were crashed in to while stopped with lights going.  Bit like moths to a flame. It also cost of few their lives.

Not sure what happened here, relatively straight stretch of road at highway speed, couldn't see any flashing lights on the footage. People do not drive defensively, they tailgate, do not look any distance up the road, read the traffic etc.

how the **** does this happen

By the chopper footage and just a guess but it looks like the tack welds used to hold the bracket in place during manufacture did a bloody good job holding that up there for 12 months

I'm buggered if I know what that had to do with the reduce to 40km/hr rule. The driver swerved off the road. If people can't slow down whilst staying in their lane they shouldn't be allowed on the roads.

Looked like those 3 cars where traveling waaaaaaaay too close together.
First car taps the brakes right as he gets to the copper in the side of the road. Second car has no reaction time or braking room, so swerves to not run up the ass of the first car and inadvertently slams into the copper on the road shoulder.

The 100km/h to 40km/h in an instant is a ridiculously stupid rule.
I don’t have the answer, but that rule won’t be around for much longer.....

wouldn't be the first stupid rule to stick around.... someone has to admit they were wrong for that to happen.
