AD DELETED, sort of...Pics.

Due to the fact I've now lodged an application for a dealers Lic., I can not sell anything until that approval is through.

In about 6 weeks or less, the ad will be back up.

Just thinking out aloud, now that you are heading down the 'commercial dealer' road should your ads be placed in the showroom floor section in future. Not sure of the Myswag rules re this.
Also do you now need to advertise prices as drive away no more to pay including rego transfer as a dealer?

Not sure if the mods would want me in showroom, they're just second hand cars.
I'm not what I would call a commercial dealer by any stretch of the imagination.
I work out of home, and hope to do maybe 25 to 30 cars a year.

A proper commercial dealer would have that many on site any week of the year.
Sort of a hobby thing, but I need a dealers lic or cop  a huge fine.

OH, and no, I just quote the sale price and the buyer takes care of the stamp duty and transfer.

With my cars, you can't get fries with them.

A good example what's coming up soon, is a one owner 1996 Mitsubishi Magna. (Dropped off about an hour a go)

Now, trust me, Magna's are NOT my first choice of car, but when its a one owner, then it gets my attention.
Another that should scrub up nicely, is the 1997 Hyundai Lantra we now have in stock.
Maybe even as nice as the 2001 Toyota Avalon that's all ready to go.

Just gotta wait for some paperwork from the Office of Fair Trading... waiting.... waiting ..... waiting... 8)

Ha ha ha, when I bought the Magna this week, I just assumed it was 4 cyl.

I decided to give it a good once over this morning.....24 valve V6 powered.  :cup:

I gave ol Mary Magna a good going over today. Shit, this thing is way better than I thought.
Its been serviced all its life and it still 3,000 klm to go for its next service.

All the pads etc are in excellent shape, including the little brake shoes for the handbrake.
Most of the exhaust is new.
The timing belt was only replaced 2,000 klm ago.
As I've mentioned earlier, its a one owner with books.
The hood lining has been stapled up, but this one is good enough to score a new hood lining next week.
All the tyres are good including the spare.
The radiator is fairly new with yummy green coolant in it.
The air conditioning was serviced 2 years ago.
Its got a nice shine to the paint. (it'll score a buff next week anyway)
It does have a little bit of clear coat issues on the roof, but not too bad.
Presents really nice.
As soon as the Dealers license comes through, this will get its roadie done and score some rego.

Yeah, they're ok as a car.
This one is a 9/1996 unit, with 256,000 on the clock, so it should see plenty of klm out of it yet.
Pretty normal sort of mileage for a 22 year old car.

Never had a tow bar fitted in its life either, so it hasn't had the arse dragged out of it with trailers either.

It scored a brand new hood lining today too.

A second Toyota Avalon is coming home tomorrow to keep the mint metallic green one company.
The second one is white, full books, reversing camera, should scrub up lovely.

Stuffed If I can find a reversing camera.... I got ripped off.

Mrs Jeepers drove 140 klm to bring the white Toyota Avalon CSX home today. (pretty good road test right there)
Reckons it drives very nice, frosty cold air cond, stereo works, electric mirror, electric windows, cruise control, engine was quiet, auto shifted nicely, blah blah blah.

She's a pretty good road tester too.
I plonked in behind her for part of the trip, no haze or fume from the back, so that was a good sign.
I must be getting really old fast, I actually think the Avalons are fairly smart looking car.
Originally sold new in Rockhampton to a private couple and I believe, its only had one owner after that, but I can't prove it to be a 2 owner jobbie unfortunately.

Including our own cars, we now have 7 cars and a box trailer on site.... place looks like a car yard.  ;D
(5 of the 7 are undercover, so not really)

My olds are onto their second Avalon now. My Dad absolutely loves them and keeps teling me they were originally built by Lexus. They do major kms per month with their work and have never had an issue, serviced regularly they will go forever! Good luck with the sale.

A couple of shots of the upcoming Magna. (this hasn't been detailed yet)
The note on the windscreen is to remind of the things I want to do prior to the sale.
This will be available soon and the price revealed as soon as i'm legal.

And, this is the first of the 2 Avalon's.
Once again, in undetailed condition, but you'll get the idea.

Same as above... details revealed soon.

Have you got an University with a lot of International Students near by? The Toyota Camry and derivatives are very popular with them - more so than many of the other brands.

After nearly 9 years of ownership, the old 88 Ford pano will be up for grabs too.
Same deal, can't sell just yet, but REAL SOON hopefully.

The white Avalon is coming up ok.
The paint, while polishing up ok and will look nice with a good shine, it's not as nice as the green Avalon's finish.

I suspect this white one will be a tad cheaper. (Maybe :D)

I've replaced the one dodgy bonnet strut, fitted 4 brand new tyres and now it just has to have the front brake rotors popped off for a light skim.
Bloody good rotors on these things, will accept a skim easy, unlike Commodores and the like.

Almost ready to go to a new home...... c'mon Qld Govt.,stamp my paperwork soon please.
