When we bought our camper we flew from MEL to SYD to inspect, then drove up and back the next weekend to collect it. I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed if you were to do something similar.

Having said that, there'd be no risk in going straight to the road trip.....

I had D4D check out my camper in Melbourne for me having a fair idea of what he was like from on here. After the green light from him I bought it and had it sent to me without actually looking at it. It was everything he’d said and if I were looking for one like his I’d buy it sight unseen, as I’d guarantee it’s better than he says it is.

Sounds like DrewXT has a pretty good offer, give him some $$$ to cover his increased fuel consumption and you shouldn't have too big of a drive to get it, you could even fly down for a quick round trip over the next week or so for a look if you wanted.

I go down there to Albury on a regular basis so if someone buys it we can make it a night at the Wodonga Hotel then i can bring it back to Newcastle if required mate.

I may only get to Hollbrook then have to set it up for a nap if you still drink like that night we had at Kings Canyon is anything to go by

More than happy to, and I drive through so won't even have to set it up for a snooze!!

Depending where in the New England area you are, only a couple of hours to Forster...

As an enticement, I'll pay a finders fee if you find somebody to buy the camper, and I will donate a similar amount to the myswag server fund.

3, 2, 1, go :)

It is true that winter is a great time to go camping, you just need the right camper!

I'll throw in a portable heater to sweeten the deal.

What portable heater do you use in it? Currently in Birdsville and it's cold as hell
