Lovicks to King Billy close due to snow..
« on: October 30, 2018, 08:38:54 AM »
Parks Victoria have just advised us that Bluff track between Lovicks and King Billy will remain closed as it is still blocked by deep snow and will remain closed until snowmelt.
Trip Leaders and travelers to this area are advised to use alternative routes such as Brocks rd. to further destinations.

Parks Vic have advised "it is unlikely that we will need to extended closure until the 1st December so happy to lift off the closure once snow has gone.

The track will be sign posted and blocked until the track is in suitable condition to be driven.".

Such a popular route linking one side of the HC to another but fair enough reason for them to do it. Could make for quiet a hairy drive in parts.

I couldn't agree more with you. I hope Parks plants a couple trail cameras along the route to hopefully catch the oxygen thieves.

Mount Stirling also affected ......

Mount Stirling Clear Hills Track Update
Mt Stirling Mount Buller Resort Management  have advised that Mount Stirling summit will remain closed until 30th November due to heavy snow.
"The gates at Telephone Box Junction, Howqua Gap and Razorback turn off will be opened allowing access to the Circuit Road from Thursday 1 November.
Gates at Howqua Gap and Clear Hills Track near Monument turn off allowing access to the Summit will open on Friday 30 November. "

come now...the judge likely would have a stern talking to before he lets them walk out of court, maybe fine them a few hundred dollars they could pay off under a payment plan over the next ten years, and not record a conviction because that might impact thier future....surely that’d teach them not to do it again.
