Nope they aren't, but if they keep putting Shit on TV like this, or like fake reality TV, and 17 hours of watching  nothing, then people who have expectations of entertainment or quality TV are suffering.
When they have articles in the paper about it being the "next big thing" - there isn't much hope for these people.
Plenty of 10 hours of XYZ videos on Youtube... like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWFBqiUgspg

maybe it is the next big thing, but just doesn't appeal to your taste...

and who's to say it is Shit TV?

i'll take this over 80% of what is currently on TV at the moment...

everyone has their own opinion, but blanket statements like "isn't much hope for these people" and "Shit on TV" don't reflect who is actually watching a lot of these types of programs, that maybe you don't like...

and if you are looking to free-to-air TV for quality, that boat has largely sailed... :D

So if TV stations Free or otherwise think they can get away with creating only shows with a budget of about $10.00 by mounting a camera and having basically no staff, or outlays - over creating some quality TV show with acting (yea not much of that in recent times, but there has to be some somewhere), a story line (FFS, not another police show either), what do you think they will do ???

There will be nothing but cameras on the front of trains, cars, trees, butterflies, watching water going down a drain, watching clouds go by.. Your right, its awesome.. I cant wait..  ::)

you're basing that premise on your opinion that absolutely no-one will like this type of show...

i am just giving you the perspective of some of those that do...

i certainly do not advocate that all tv becomes this type of thing, because variety is good, but if a large enough group of people do like this type of program (for whatever reason), why wouldn't the stations make more?

just because some don't like it, doesn't mean they shouldn't make it.  that's why you have the options to not watch, or get quality programming from other sources, both legal and not-so legal...

quality free-to-air tv (on commercial stations anyways) in australia is just about dead.  you only have to watch (if you can stomach it, because i can't) 5 minutes of the logies and what they deem is 'great tv'...

it's all good... don't want to start a TV war... :)  everyone is entitled to their opinion...

i'll be watching it, mainly because my son likes it and that's good enough TV for me...

Get off your farken phones while driving.
You are killing yourself and others.
Grow a fuggin brain.
Everyday on the idiot box, another head line, head on collision.
A family wiped out, kids left with no patents, partners/wives/husbands left to bury their loved ones.

Nothing wrong with the road,
Just the dickheads that use it.
Sorry for the language, I don't want to get the knock on the door

Over 400 people caught on their phones in seven hours on new cameras being tested in Melb this week. Most mobile phones have gps, when the phone detects speed via the gps signal they should be disabled.

I think thst would be a good idea, but how doesthe phone detect which speed zone you are in.
All you have to do is turn  off the locations settong.
I've nearly been hit on a pedestrian crossing in a 40 zone cause the brain dead retard was looking at their phone. Scared the Shite ot of them when I punched the bonnet.

iPhones actually have this functionality - called Do Not Disturb While Driving - but the user can override it. So unfortunately, the responsible don't need it and the irresponsible won't care.

I'm with you hairs, i cant work out peoples obsession with phones, i dont even carry mine while I'm working, check it when i stop for a break, if it cant wait until then well bad luck.
When my two girls first got their licences, when they went somewhere i used to wait a few minutes then ring them, they soon learned not to answer the phone while driving mind you that was before all this caller id and hands free stuff

Doesn't matter what speed zone you're in - build it in that if the phone is moving, it can't be used.

Which, I know, is a bit ridiculous - a "mobile phone" that can't be used mobilely ::)

Phones and navigators rely on information, not detection.
It's in the mapping software.

I don't know how often I have been in a speed zone different to the phone/navigator info.
(If your paying attention) You can also pick up times when the navigator displays the speed for the service lane as the main road.

Hi,
Any correlation between actual posted speed limit and software indicated speed limit is coincidental good luck.

Phone GPS is not that accurate  ;D ;D  ;D

As for speed zones being inaccurate, that is an input from the mapping software company, not a phone or GPS fault.  Speed zones are constantly changing, must be a nightmare for Garmin etc.
