my dad coming home after a heart attack and stroke...

a month in hospital and a month in rehab...

a 'remarkable recovery' in the doctor's own words... :)

dad was lucky... minor heart attack (has had a five-way bypass previously), but the stroke was caused by the angiogram for the heart attack...

plenty worse off than us...

Good luck with the recovery of your father Paceman, not sure of his vintage but if he's anything like my Ol dad he will be a tough Ol bird. Nearly lost dad two years ago, perforated bowel, still going, lives in a good nursing home, just turned 89 and I am amazed at his tenacity and ability to recover from setbacks.
All the best.

we have been trying for a few years, but if this heart attack and stroke doesn't slow him up, i am not sure how much luck we will have... :)

My old man was mowing the back yard when he had the 1st stroke.

Didn't have much to go, so kept mowing, even though he had the mower all over the place.
He was more cranky about the crooked lines than having the stroke. (The first of about 8 from memory)

Not good mate,
How old is he?

My father passed away at the age of 59 from a stroke.
Had a check up last week, all is good, cholesterol is in the high part of just over What it should be.
Doctor isn't concerned, but with family history I have to start looking after myself a bit better.
At 52, a big bloke I think there are some changes to be taken.

Now what made me smile,
My Dr's name is,
Grewcock.
Was wondering why everyone just called him Dr Simon
Not me, I refer to him in front of everyone as,
DR Grewcock.
He doesn't know how to handle that,  🤣🤣🤣🤣

i can’t stand Waleed.....the show is watchable when he’s not on it, otherwise I just have to change the channel the moment I come across anything he is on.
