Made up a cover story started another war / invaded three countries in the name of freedom  and ............

expensive number plate.... that's worth gold.
It's a vanity plate now and cost many times its weight in Gold last time it changed hands.
An enamel painted vintage plate.
There are still quite a few left out there.  Some of the Government Ministers cars have them.

& you wouldn't want just anti-reverse screws holding it in place >:D

I reckon it'd be screwed, riveted, glued & welded :D

If this becomes law I will require you all to respectfully refer to me as Mistress TrickleDown.

Tax office please note I will be filling in the pink form and expect to have an army of social justice warriors behind me to defend my oppressed minority status should there be any reactionary backlash.

Just a small change in subject.
Callinan Media have done it again.

https://mr4x4.com.au/no-gcm-upgrades-new-vehicles/?utm_source=ActiveCampaign&utm_medium=email&utm_content=GCM+upgrades+have+been+banned&utm_campaign=PC+Newsletter+%23214

Apparently GVM upgrades unaffected.

Changes to GCM banned, if it is an increase beyond the Manufacturers Stated Limit. (status quo remains)
I always thought GCM didn't change.  When you upped the GVM, the increase came out of the GCM.
So, to my way of thinking, some of the misinformation about second tier manufacturing is now out the window.
Comes into effect on 1-7-18.

By a lot of the comments below the article, not a lot of them understood the existing rules, and are now griping/whinging/complaining about the change.

Top paid public servant salary to near $900,000 after next pay rise
By Doug Dingwall
The salary of Australia's top paid public servant will near $900,000 a year after a new round of pay rises for the federal government's most senior bureaucrats.

Salaries of public service bosses will grow by up to $17,500 in a round of pay hikes coinciding with warnings of continuing sluggish national wage growth.

Talk about elasticity, I think the rubber band in her head has snapped, make up your mind, do you want equality or not and I would of thought in this day and age choosing pink or blue would be stereo typing and not politically correct. ??? ???

Dont you worry, the Mps all make bucket loads more than 900k. Its just they have to wait until they leave office to collect it as consultants etc. Otherwise it would be deemed corrupt if they accepted it while in office.

No, no it wouldn't ::)

After all, you've got the bitch on Gold Coast Council (who are all, thankfully, currently being investigated by the CMC :cup:), who openly admits to getting $175k "contributions" from property developers, then going into planning meetings & voting >:(

She then said "No it's alright. When I'm voting, I keep it in mind that they've given me money, but I don't let it affect my vote. I've got a clean conscience" >:(

Yeah. $175k would help me clean my conscience as well :'(

Just saw this: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-06-15/historic-longreach-pub-gutted-by-fire/9872160

Lyceum Pub in Longreach gone :'(

Did say ""It shut down recently and they said they were going to reopen it and refurbish it and now this has happened."", so a nasty, cynical, little voice asks if it may be an insurance job ???
