for me the first one the shop front is too dark and the car almost too bright.

Photo 2 would be great if you could mow that grass down, sweet old bridge :)

^^^ good point. ..  also jeeps, what I reckon would really clinch a spot in the 2018 calander - is if there was some quintessential you beaut Aussie scene in the background....  Maybe a Mad Max background etc...  (most know that movie was shot in Australia...)

Something a bit subtle;  (ie not the harbour bridge)....   but something that lets everyone know just how far that USofA icon has traveled. ...

I was thinking more of a brown snake... It wouldn't matter how big the tank, the water would be no good if that happened to me

Being asked to submit 4 photos to be considered for a 2018 Cadillac calendar in the USA.

We submitted these and the reply we got was very positive.  8)

I'm hoping the first one gets the nod..... thought it looked very classy.

All of them top shots Jeepers, although you should trim the grass on the bridge & re-do that one.

Where is that bridge ??? Looks to be a pretty deep gully & didn't think there were too many of them round the Bay ???

I agree with it needing an Iconic Australian backdrop...

The bridge is in the Mary Valley.
Its not easy getting something "Aussie" into the shot without overcrowding the photo.
I'm no photographer though, I proved that.
I did around 16 shots and those 4 were the best, including my artie shot with the long grass.  :-[

Breakfast went well though, we had a 1923 T Track roadster (Turbo rotary powered) and a very cool 75 HJ ute in the driveway.
The breakfast was for the owners of USA to AUS that bought our car in for us.

They were camping at Poona for the week, so we caught up with them last Sunday and again this morning.
We must've been ok to deal with during the import process, as they contacted us last week-end.  (Who'd a Thunk It)

Being accepted into Rehab! Nooo Not booze or Drugs!
It is the Mine rehabilitation team fro the closure of Hazelwood cola mine in Gippsland. This will give me 2 years work minimum. Happy about that but it is delaying the end result of being made redundant.

That's a good outcome, better than the dole...

so if all the workers quit their job at the other place that are battling with AGL over wages (I still don't understand why you wouldn't accept 20% rise over 4yrs), is that an option?

If it comes up I would be mad not to go for it. Although that would men that I wold not get my redundancy unless it all happened before march 31st and I could leave on that day then I get it. But on the other hand if it meant ongoing employment then I would forgo the payout!!

I took these pics at the last caravan show in Brisbane last year. ...   Was going to post them earlier but forgot. ...

Hopefully they will put a smile on youse dials....

(I'd love you have enough cash; and the competence to be able to own, and restore a vintage van ...).

I'd buy this sardine tin - if I had the guts..

And now - thanks to the ad; I know there is a forum for vintage vans ...  maybe I can / should start dreaming a little...    But like the ad poster said - you need to be towing this beauty with a classic tug - so more $$$ unfortunately...

This is a very rare Vintage Caravan, We (myself and others in the Vintage Caravan forum) have not been able to find another one like it.

This van would look fabulous behind a 30s/40s model car.

The caravan is built on a WOODEN chassis with some steel reinforcing around the A frame. The cladding is Masonite and the roof is Canite with canvas over that.

The floor is 6X1 Oregon pine.

Internally there is an icebox and a large pantry, also a large wardrobe/storage area.

The cushions are original!

The table can drop to another bed if required.

There is some 240v lighting and a power point.

I have a half annexe (new) which fits the half behind the door. It is made to be sympathetic with the style of the van.

The box on the front of the van is an old grenade box.

I have upgraded the axle and put electric brakes with LT tyres.

Please don't call if you want to make 'Janorma' into a coffee shop or a teen agers retreat......she deserves much better than that

Pick up only.

SMS will not be replied to.
