A mate of mine built this up.

Reminds me of working on a mates XB Falcon. It started raining so we sat in the engine bay under the bonnet while we worked.

I know what you mean there Adrian. I had to get into the engine bay of my XB to remove/refit the Cleveland inlet manifold......heavy suckers.....

Very nice. I do like a white K/T/G, especially with a white engine bay. Really makes that engine pop.

Is he going to fit that GTS bonnet? Will certainly set it off.

He's done well.

 :cup:

Nah don't think so mate.  It looks great done. He is a retired panel beater. He has already moved onto the next project. He has a HX prem wagon armed behind this that is in very good condition for its age. He also had a retro van that he is working on too.

Huh, this is cool.

I've been searching the previous owners of the new car for any history I can get and bugger me.
When you do a google aerial search of the last owner, the Caddy is in the driveway on the other side of the world.  8)

I'm not a huge fan of Ramblers, but.....

This thing is $9,950 and if ya got it for $9,000, this could be a cool buy.
$9,000usd would be about $12,500aud and then add in every charge known to mankind to get it on your doorstep.

For around $19,500 or thereabouts, this would look nice in anyone's driveway.

Annual Smoke and Iron Hot Rod and Custom show at Armidale Tourist Park this weekend:

(Going to get a 302 Windsor in it... one day...)

1UZ fitted into a Chevrolet.

This wasn't the only one on L's at the show - great to see the kids getting dragged into the scene

I wouldn't drink that...

We gave the Caddy a run to the Sunshine Coast today.
The idea, was to go to the "Cars and Coffee" at the old Etta Pub, then swing by and surprise F.S.Shane at home, but I forgot to put in the stuff I needed to drop off to him, so no surprise was happening there today.

Here is a heap of pics from "Cars and Coffee" Pretty cool turnout, with free coffee and patti cakes. Its run by Poison Kandy Klothing and its run from 8am to10am on the first Sunday of every month.
I might add here too, all the cars were "Drivers", no show ponies, just cool old cars and their owners having a good time.

THIS 57 WAS VERY COOL.

GEEZ, THE HOT ROD IS A BIT SHORT.

THIS WAS A GREAT LOOKING 32.  8)

MRS JEEPERS AND THE CADDY, BOTH LOOKING VERY STYLISH.

$27,000 WOULD BUY THE 64 T.BIRD.

THIS 64 C10 WAS VERY NICE ALSO. I'D HAVE IT.

We headed off to Palmwoods and set ourselves up at a café next to Rick's Diner for a toasted cheese sanger and a milkshake.
I said to the ol girl, glad we were the only Caddy there.
Just then, a 69 Coupe DeVille pulled up behind our 64, so a photo op couldn't be knocked back.

After that, we headed off through Nambour, the Bruce Hwy before jumping off and going via the Mary Valley Road.
Great day, lots of cool cars in the Queensland sunshine.

The first thing I noticed in that pic was the treadly. How cool's that  :cup:

It's something you build, because you can, AND you can ride it.

The Hastings St Hipsters couldn't ride it. I bet whoever built it can wheel stand it ;D

(I hope I'm not wrong and some twat has  bought it and just shows it off to try to be cool ::) )

I've never seen one in the flesh, but one in this condition for sale, doesn't come up very often.

I think I need it  ;D
